Feck.. I guess you rather him pin his hopes on buck or Hall? Gotta believe in something until it fails.

Our problem is that we cant successfully run or throw the ball consistently enough to gain a 1st down. So we can't establish the run nor can we establish a passing game because we can open a gap for the rb or throw to an open receiver. Stupid and frustrating for the 4th year in a row.

Or the players aren't good enough to meet the expectations of the coaches..

Buck Is the Franchise Player and plays a large part in the Community.. He is the face of the team. Whether he is the best Player at his position or not doesn't matter..

No he can cover, just not when the ball is thrown his way.

BUT we beat montreal 2.. And AC looked very rattled after the game. Hopefully some our our starters will recover from injury quickly and Crowton, Buck/Goltz/Hall can suddenly light the Offense on fire. Sadly i've been waiting for 4 years for any sort of fire to break out on offense so i think it would be silly to expect any changes in the short term.

Well If i recall correctly LAPO didn't want to fire Baressi nor did he want to bring in a dedicated OC as he wanted to continue calling the plays. Maybe i'm recalling incorrectly but that was the prevelant understanding on the other boards last year..

Yes. I say we go with the jet package. Defenses won't know if we are going fumble in the backfield or run and get stopped for a loss or if I'm going to be the only one touching the qbs.

Let buck start if he can and pull him when he fails leaving the pressure off goltz and giving the crowd something to cheer about. But goltz should be in if he continues to show promise. He can escape the pressure pretty well.
