I miss being able to go on to the field after practice, a few guys were nice enough to shake hands near the stands. My little cousin was happy to high five Mainor.

As much as it kills me to say, Cameron really does look like the worst punter out there.

They are going hard on special teams again today. Clement with a throw knocked down in the scrimmage but it's hard to separate the QBs until they start throwing a little more.

McGee worked as the first team WIL right now as they go up against the offence.

78 Hutchison and 79 Pav-whatever have looked great in the early punting so far. Hutchison in particular, his kicks just boom off the foot and great height and distance. Cameron's had a rougher day so far.

Went to the afternoon one as well and agree with a lot of your comments. Tons of special teams stuff today. No wonder ours sucked so bad last year, I think I've seen them practice this more than I ever recall. Pierce looked like the best QB today and it wasn't even close. He hit his WRs most consistently in the one on ones. The rest were not very good today in my opinion - though Clement did have the one no-huddle drive. We really need to get people healthy ASAP. A lot of starters hurt right now. Defensively I thought the whole unit(s) flew around today really well. Is there practice tomorrow? Bomber site has nothing - usually it says "no practice" at least.

I didn't know which thread to put this one (this one or the updates one) but would it be possible to maybe get a little line or tidbit about where the name of the site comes from? I think outsiders are probably curious and/or confused about how the name came about.

I think they like McGee - maybe (probably) not enough for him to be a starter - but as a primary reserve.

Doesn't have anything to do with Road Griller. Goltz has the most impressive physical skillset of the four quarterbacks. He provides us the added threat along the ground, and depending on what Crowton has in mind with his offense, that may end up being the best fit. Hall may be a better pocket passer (perhaps even right now) and may end up being a good QB here. Still, if Goltz can piece it all together his ceiling is higher than any of the other quarterbacks in my opinion.

I'd be fine with Hefney getting cut. His play has dropped a lot (in fairness, the whole team dropped last year) but I will always remember Stewart and Hefney getting into a shouting match about Hef not subbing in for part of the special teams practice.

Sounds like a common trend so far is that people really like what they see out of Max Hall, and mixed reviews on Pierce, Goltz and Clement. I am really hoping Goltz grabs the second spot but Hall is really polished.

Definitely, but the most important aspect of the game (to me at least) is that you get a full game's worth of tape to watch and re-watch. At no point do I wonder what Glen Suitor thinks of our players.

So infuriating...especially as the sole rights holders. And its not even getting bumped for something big like a Cup game.

Also am I allowed to ask why there is a new site? Why the breakup?

I'll fully admit it's possible that my disdain for Buck is clouding my judgement but I don't think he looks far and away like the best QB out there anymore (like he did in past offseasons). Clearly a small sample size with just the earlier minicamp and now these three days but I think its pretty close.

This site looks way better than anything we've ever had before. Very cool. I look forward to hardcore Bomber discussion and less trolling and/or blatant attacks.
