Any chance the Bombers are in on Ernest Jackson? I know the team is stacked at receiver now, but you have to think that every team in the West is loaded with talent at receiver. The Lions receiving corp is very scary. Dressler, Jackson, Stafford, Adams would put them right up there too.

It's going to be hard for LaFrance to get any reps when the the defence is always on the field.

I always find it hilarious how the gms can sign some of these guys so quickly lol. It's almost as if they negotiated weeks prior.

At this point I'd have to say that the club probably has their best group of receivers in a very long time. I especially like the variety in the types of receiver that they have.

Got to admit I was part of the group that wanted to let Smith go, however I think you are right. It would be great to see him become more like Dressler. The potential is there. He's shown it. Maybe ask him to renegotiate his contract that is more insentive based contract.

-If I remember correctly...Durant and Denmark weren't exactly a lethal combo in Regina last year. Would probably be the best option for him though as both the Als and Argos need to restock at receiver. -Id like to see the Bombers try to trade Ryan Smith to either the Als or Argos for another pick as it would open the door for a biggger and cheaper Sheppard and allow the club to spend a bit more on FA/ or re-sign Chung a bit earlier. -I'm hoping Westerman doesn't sign with Saskatchewan as I have a feeling both may end up playing for the Riders in 2018.

I thought he signed two yr agreement, but negotiated an out if an NFL opportunity presented this offseason. If he doesn't sign an NFL contract he remains bomber property through 2017 season. Not 100% sure, but that's what I thought the agreement was

The Riders have Jones for GM and HC...so no the Riders are worse. The Argos still have hope for the unknown. Players are climbing over one another to get out of Saskatchewan.

Re-Sign Chung long term

I can't see the Bombers making a play for Franklin at this point. Especially since Nichols being their MOP. I'd imagine he's already considered to be their starter next season.
