Yes you are correct. I had forgotten about that. Though I disagree that he'd still be in the usfl assuming his NFL interest dried up. As a Canadian that's the only reason to play down there right now.

We didn't get Dobson because the spring league let him go. We got Dobson back because the NFL wasn't interested, even after the spring league. His financial ceiling is much higher in the CFL than anywhere else currently. Again, I doubt many scouts from xfl/usfl would be scouring the Usports combine to find guys when they have a plethora of talent easily available in their own country. If they want anyone from Canada it'll be because of what they've shown in the CFL, not the combine.

Regardless....if someone is good enough to be on the NFL radar, they will be. Combine or not. Other Canadian talent that might opt for the other 2 leagues wouldn't be recruited from Uni ball. Too much talent down south for them to really care....at the moment anyway. They would get recruited via pro film/try outs.

I agree with this 100%. Ksb seems to be more athletic than wolly. But in terms of flat out replacing wolly in our lineup...im not completely convinced it would be a good fit. Nor would I want him over Demski.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're saying... I will say...it 100% is voluntary. No one is making anyone (all things being equal) live in this country. If you're volunteering to live in a country, then you are required to play by that countries rules.

content isn't just about putting out good content. lol. I know that sounds wrong. But it's not. You start by putting out everything and anything and refine as you go. CFL puts out essentially nothing. On top of that they also stop other people from putting out solid CFL content. If you're not filming, you could miss a viral moment. Literally anything...and that can get people involved. It's not so much about the boring content, I agree that people who aren't hardcore won't jump at the chance...but they may come across it and see it in a way that we don't and take it from there. Dumb **** goes viral all the time, and people make careers and loads of $$ off that. If you're not putting out content you're not even in the stadium to try and play.

I can understand this. But I don't think the answer is necessarily less government. Less corruption and needless spending..? Absolutely! It's a huge issue and a reason why we're in the situations we are with government etc. Now less corruption likely leads to smaller governments for a time. But I don't want a less socialized society...if that makes sense. go back to? I'd argue that's exactly what's taking place right now. In fact there hasn't been a wage gap between the rich and poor like there is today since Queens and kings ruled.

in todays world I'm not so sure. I really don't want to have a relationship with Loblaws...buut my bank account says otherwise. Companies have gotten so big that even if you think you're going to a competitor you really might not be. It's all a big corporate game.
