Yeah, that hit wasn't that bad....looked worse than it was. Is 100% a penalty. But not dirty imo. It was unfortunate because if he doesn't do that, I think the td happens still. Kind of a pointless block in that sense.

You could tell VA had been emotional after the game during an interview. Guy is streaky and gets in his head too much. BCs coaches better be on top of his confidence cause it's games like that can snowball for him. Next week will be very telling for VA.

Refs missed a lot of calls. Hands to the face, face masking, that push out of bounds on wollys td was iffy at best. I don't even know how many holding calls were missed against the Dline. It Was frustrating watching what Mtl was getting away with.

Yeah it definitely looked like Alexander got caught looking in the back field on that deep one.

I'm think it might actually be Holm that gets the seat. I don't think Houston will be going anywhere either.

Booch has something against Holm. He got beat a few times last night, against a speedster. It happens. Didn't give up huge plays though. He also tackles just fine and isn't afraid to get after the run. Swarmy is a nice surprise. Essentially locked down one of the leagues top rec through the first couple of weeks. If the rest can get healthy, our secondary could be very very good.

Offense left 14 points on the field too. This game should have been a lot more lopsided. I'm still not sure what happened with those punts that went out of bounds. Flag was thrown, but not yardage marked off? Dline was way better. 2ndary I thought played well, a few breakdowns here and there but lots of play makers too. Play calling was going to make me throw a remote at the TV, especially rose last 2 or 3 drives. Run the ball BUCK!!!!!

Bad luck more than anything. Demskis kid takin their time, kramdi/Augodsi getting hurt a day ago...not too concerned. It's honestly not that bad...we're going into our 3rd...4th? String wrs. There's only so much depth to go around.

Yeah the oline play was bad, and the play calling made it worse. I'm confident Buck will get it together this week.

Who are the players we've cut that have gone on to other teams in the CFL and become relevant? You've mentioned Fredrick, again a position that has always been solid under this regime. And MBT...who outside of last year was mediocre and if we had kept him may have been a reason to not sign Collaros. (lot of assumptions there, but still). I genuinely don't see the issue that you're stating. Bombers have 2 players starting on their Oline (top 2 in the league last year and this) who were cut from teams. 1 who has been in the running for MOOL the last couple of years. Grant was cut by Hamilton. Collaros had essentially been given up on by multiple teams. Lawler was released by BC before finding his way here. Etc etc etc. Pretending it doesn't happen else where is weird. Give me 1 name Bombers have cut during TC that have made even a slight impact...not even remotely close to the impact of the players I just mentioned. 1 player from the Bombers who has been cut that's currently top 5 in their position group on another team. I'm honestly having a hard time thinking of anyone.

acting like the Bombers are the only team to cut quality players only to see them reappear on other teams is weird. It's football. Some players just fit better with other teams/playbooks/schemes/needs etc etc etc. This isn't a problem and it certainly isn't a MOS only problem. It happens in every sport, in every league. Our DB depth has never really been an issue, so great for Fredrick. Montogomery has done absolutely nothing in the CFL along with a bunch of DEs the bombers have cut. So what are we actually complaining about? If Mohammed was the player some on here seem to think he is, he would be starting. We have plenty of examples in the past of new DBs coming in and starting shortly after. That's the curse of being a good team, you're are eventually going to have to cut good players.
