Don't think they'll make much noise in the 2nd half of the year but I do think they will surprise a few teams from time to time. Play hard nose ball and they'll fold.

not even remotely a good decision. I can see a case for it, if it was 1st down. But that would have created a punting situation. Touching him down, would have essentially been a turnover. He over thought it and cost his team big time.

Its the same reasoning as "if team A didnt score so many points, they wouldnt have won" great...but that means nothing in reality.

But thats the thing that doesnt make sense. You dont get to just pick and choose which plays/stats go into the entire picture. Hes not middle of the pack, because....hes made the plays...not inspite of them. Every leading returner every single year shares that common stat. They make more plays than the other guys. End of story.

How so? BC was only bringing 3 and dropping everyone else. Nichols isn't going to push the ball down field at the best of times. Never mind when the game is on the line. BC was leaving one of our best offensive weapons wide open (harris) so Nichols was taking it. And it worked. they got into field goal position. It just didn't work out the right way. When the game is one the line you don't throw up prayers unless you have no other option. (stegalls catch). Take what the D is giving you and walk down the field. They had enough time to do it and the O moved the ball into scoring position. For a tie, which is not ideal. But better than throwing a bomb into double/triple coverage and ending the game with 45 seconds left. They should have been playing to win earlier in the 4th q. The final drive wasn't the time to take risks given the circumstances.

Him and Adams had a great game today. Loved watching the both of them go at each other.

The oline is really starting to piss people off. And I love it! That was one thing missing a few years ago, no attitude. QB would get hit and no one would help them up. Now...at least 2 hogs rush over to help him off the turf (not that it happens often). I love the way they've been playing and the chip they've been playing with!! KEEP IT UP!!!!!!

I believe Nichols has one as well. Bryant has one. Dressler has a few. Nevis doesn't but he's a top talent as well. Randle might but I'm not sure, top talent though. Fairly sure our HC has a few as well....our DC has one at least. Not sure about Lapo. Either way, this team has the talent to play with anyone. They just gotta figure how to best use it. Anyone who doesn't think this team is talented, I'm going to assume hasn't been watching CFL football for too long.

Use "uncovering" lightly, he was a starter for the cowboys for a few years. Good on them for recognizing his skills fit the CFL though.

If they don't play the majority of defensive plays zone coverage I'll be very concerned about Halls ability to call defence moving forward. Ray has struggled against zone this year.

I'm not concerned about Ray at all to be honest. His weakness this season is...zone. That's it. Play zone and double up SJ. Their Defence is way more of a concern to me, butler has 7 damn sacks already. And they have some decent ball hawks behind him. Will be a real test for our Oline and Nichols.

please see all other suspensions in the CFL. Even if the Commish gave him a 4 game suspension it doesn't mean it would happen. Players always fight it. Annoying, but one game is better than none. I'm thinking He won't be in the league much longer anyway. Austin wasn't pleased with him.
