Yeah the Schedule makes no sense...but with the start the Bombers have had, it now favours them. More homes games and Byes in the 2nd half will make this team very strong!

Don't you guys know...if the Bombers had to deal with the injuries the criders have the records would be similar! Bombers are just lucky they haven't had their top 2 receivers go down...followed by back up receivers going down over and over again...I mean could you imagine if they had to play without a starting WIL...or SAM....or Safety...or DE? It's just ridiculous the lack of injuries the Bombers have had to deal with this year! (according to some at riderfans no other team is dealing with significant injuries)

I argee that they might come close (and it's very hard to compare era's) but they were not playing the Offence styles the Bombers were. The CFL is very much a pro offence league. The bears got to be WAY WAY WAY more physical than anything the 21 team could do. I'd argue that today's offence is a lot harder to stop than any offence in 85.

I noticed after he threw the INT that went for 6, he had no trouble sprinting for the tackle (which isn't that uncommon honestly) but what surprised me is the lack of limp when coming to a stop. Absolutely nothing, just slowed down normally, no limping no hopping etc.

No football league in the world at any point has seen a defense like last year. I truly believe that. I don't think a lot of people realize just how special that team was. Any expectations that this years defense would be as good or better was expecting too much imo.
