  1. First time getting to see New Mosaic in person. First impression was a nice stadium. But like ours has its flaws. The concourses seem wider than IGF but I hate that you can’t see the field from them and they are still very packed. I like the open concept at IGF and being able to see what’s going on pretty much anywhere you stand. Long lines for food and drinks but bathrooms weren’t that bad. I like the closed in North side as it gives it a nice look. We sat in about 4 different sections throughout the game as lots of open seats. The upper 500s were windy and cold but down in the 120s and 140s the wind didn’t seem to be there at all. I don’t like all of the wierd seats with like 2,3or4 seats in a row. They just sort of looked like they stuck seats wherever they could. The roof line from inside looks nicer than outside and in talking to one of the rider fans he said it was built to eventually be closed in. Which I highly doubt. We have heard rumours they would close in IGF as well but it’s never going to happen. The crowd noise was nowhere near IGF. I get that it was a 60/40ish Toronto crowd (mainly Rider fans) but when the crowd got loud it sounded muted. Not sure if it’s the material on the roof or just how it’s designed. But IGF is way louder even at half capacity. I hate the no backpack policy and only having stuff in clear bags. We had to bag check over at the Brandt Center which was a bit of a walk from the gate we wanted to enter. And no metal detectors?? At least there were none at the gate we eventually went through which was next to the tailgate area. That was really odd. At the end of the game we left the same gate over to the Brandt Center and then couldn’t get all across the street from there. We had to walk all the way around the stadium again and the crowds were packed trying to make it through. I guess this is where the bus pick up is? IGF seems to have really figured out getting people in and out of the stadium with ease. All in all a nice venue and would definitely go back. It’s nice having two beautiful stadiums in the CFL. We need more of them!
  2. The way I look at it. Now we can three peat at home in 2025
  3. Out the door at 6:15. Rolled into Regina at 11:25. Pre gaming then more pre gaming then it’s go time!
  4. Such poor planning by the city of Winnipeg. If they waited a week they could have had the Santa Clause parade and the Bomber parade at the same time.
  5. I’d like to agree but…$$$$$$$
  6. Things are always “blue” in that locker room
  7. In 2012 he was coming to Winnipeg and I was super excited. Then his tour dates were cancelled. Never did get to see him live.
  8. One of my fav comedians!
  9. Has this been confirmed by CTV yet?
  10. Yup. These could all be from last year or 2019 😉
  11. Do we know who the refs are yet?
  12. If I were Buck and heard that I’d be throwing a handful of play to Dru to keep them off their game. We know Dru can play.
  13. If that’s what it stands for then A.C Leonard should be listed as DNP on every injury report.
  14. 2!……oh you said “tats”, that I don’t know.
  15. Yeah…. I’m not sure many Rider fans are going to cheer for “Android Roid Harris” as they call him. The guy who was a big part in ending their seasons in 19 and 21.
  16. I just read that. Hilarious. And what’s with the Bombers and there PEDs comment? The only player who tested positive was Harris and he’s playing for the Argos which Migs claims to be cheering for lmao. Make it make sense. And maybe look towards your own roster for PED usage over the years.
  17. I know from talking to Biggie that they like to do this. Leading up to banjo bowl he was listed as questionable and when I talked to him his like nah I’m playing just wanted to F with the Riders. I’m assuming this is the same thing. Just like Bailey being questionable for the west final even though he was running around the field on Thursday fine. Wouldn’t put much into him not practicing today or even tomorrow.
  18. Torn bicep? He should go see Andrew Harris and use his “experience” to heal quickly and he can be back by Sunday!
  19. Exactly. Keep everything the same! That’s why I haven’t changed my underwear since winning in 2019!
  20. CFLs version of a participation ribbon
  21. When did they get 4 more?!?
  22. I don’t think guys like Alexander, Bighill, Jefferson, Jeffcoat etc etc are going to be easy on Harris. I have a feeling they are going to tee up on him and know his moves from years of practice against him. I’m really not worried about Harris having a big game. we also have to factor in the O’Shea factor who is 6-0 in Grey Cups as a player/coach. I’m no math wiz but that’s like 100%…
  23. This is no knock on Dru, he played well in the games he got to play in this year no question. But I think our Oline has a lot to do with that. I think most backups would have a fairly easy time back there. My fear for Brown going to Sask is he would get crushed behind that Oline and not look nearly as good. Sask really needs to fix that first and it’s not fixed in one off season.
