I hear ya, went through a 18 yr drought before my championship thirst was quenched........now followed by a 26 year (and counting)....with frankly no end in sight....

Everybody knows that you have to come up strong underneath and make Glenn hold the ball in the pocket, and take his reads farther down the field - this also sets up your blitzes. Coverage was too soft in the short zones, letting KG do the ole pitch and catch in rhythm.... and even when he looked down the field, our shinny new DL failed to crunch the pocket. 30 completions....major, major fail. Montreal was able to run their game plan to perfection......

Any fanbase can only absorb so much losing.....

Wouldn't be the first QB, we have broken down, round here. Looked like a combination of rust, lack of timing and some lack of confidence from Willy, last night. Someone needs to explain to Bob Wyle and the rest of the brain trust .....that having any QB take 50+ sacks and a couple of hundred hits, every year does take a toll. Better hope that we are going to get a better fit between O scheme and current QB moving forward. Better execution all round - catching, blocking etc would help as well. Recognizing the problems is not rocket science - the deal is what this coaching staff and the QB are going to do about - right bloody now.

Well, Bombers showed a great deal of patience, waiting until the last 10 minutes to resemble a actual football team. We need to take a lesson from this......uh, of some sort...

I listened to it, coming back on the bus..... A lot of focus on the last 10 minutes, in terms of encouraging signs, and "something to build on" Which makes sense, as the other 50 minutes of it was a crap show. MOS stated that the 4th quarter saved us from "total embarrasment" I trust this is not the target or standard, going forward Bob and Doug talked about the O "needing time to gell" with Lapo. Not what we had heard in camp, X-games or the runup to this game.

Yup, with all that tight coverage.....Glenn only completed 30 passes..... However, on a much more positive point.....the team looked pretty good..... the last 10 minutes.

...try 6-10... It would help immensely, if the Bombers could ever come right out of the gate, ready and willing to play football....and not put it off for 30-50 minutes...

Game delayed due to possible lightning on the field... ....hour delay, watching sun shower.... Good ploy to sell more beer..... Als O piling up first down, after first down..... Bomber O piling up like a car crash..... Chris Randle looking real, real good at at the corner.... Medlock puts 43 yd attempt off the post.....to end half Als lead 12 - 0 (as in zippo) at half ...should of been about 30-0.... ...except for two turnovers inside Bomber 5 and many penalties.... Willy looking hesitant and lacking confidence..... Our new look D was supposed to crush Kevin Glenn... ....instead of giving up THIRTY (30) completions.... Sutton runs pretty hard and gets the yds, after contact... Couple of real bad busts in deep Bomber secondary..... Willy picked off by Cox.....scattering of boos.... Bruce Johnson had a nice strip, but had some problems in the back.... Smith and Willy having some form of disconnect.... Als penalties keeping them from putting this one to bed.... TOP? Don't really want to know... Moe Leggett had a nice game... Alarm clock goes off for Bomber O....with 10 minutes to go A. Harris running sets up some actual passing.... Jace Davis at SB, may have a future..... D Adams catches long bomb to make it "respectable" Willy ended up with some yards...Blue only lost by 8 It's true....statistics are for "losers".... Willy drops snap late.....more than a smattering of boos... Didn't have to worry about a slow start for 30 minutes.... ....got 50 instead... Is there a slower starting team on O, in all of football? Is there a team that looks more unprepared, every week? Is there a worse team at converting 2nd and short? Is there a worse team "defending" home turf (7-21) O'Shea said that 4th Q, saved Blue from total "embarrassment" ....but not from "failure" ....or fans from "frustration" ...or me from "over hydrating"

Other teams can find soild import O-men....but not us. Neufeld is in his 6th year and hasn't proven a thing.

Riders have questions marks at RB, and their receiving corps is ok on paper - but not a lot of CFL catches to their credit. NO backup QB at all - Durant goes down and its katybarthedoor. Their front 7 on D has to be better, than last year....but secondary has some real question marks as well.
