Mich had one solitary objective - cram as many right wing judges into the Legislative Branch. As far as actual legislation in the Senate, or any initiatives to help anybody else.......forget it.

Republican senators now regret not doing more to contain Trump https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/533280-republican-senators-now-regret-not-doing-more-to-contain-trump So, after enabling, kowtowing to, and playing galley slaves to an amoral, mendacious and crazed narcissist for 4 years......they actually have some regrets? Worried about long term damage to the party? Shut up, please shut up, just shut up.... Or to put it another way.....shut the hell up.

    Yup, criminal act, there....
  9. Many legal experts have said a self-pardon would be unconstitutional because it violates the principle that nobody should be the judge in his or her own case. Also in 1974 the DOJ put out a opinion (closest thing we have to a precedent) that a President (Nixon) could not pardon himself. Might go to the Supreme Court, but not sure any judge of any political stripe would go for this.......
  10. Not sure Pence would be on board with 2, at this point........

"A nation can survive it's fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. For the traitor appears not a traitor.... He speaks in the accents familiar to his victims and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation.... he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city--he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared." Cicero, Roman statesman 42 BC
