To be fair, the thread I read was prior to him signing with us... I'm sure their tune has changed now that he's with us!

On RF, they were kind split on him... some liked him and hoped he'd be brought back (at the right price) and others were kind of meh. The general opinion was he did ok, even though he was playing out of position a lot due to their lack of depth. No all-star, but serviceable and they would have liked to have seen how he did with some actual talent beside him.

How are they considered amateurs when they play for money? This also isn't the 1st time McEwen has been given the choker label... it's up to him to get rid of it if he doesn't like it.

Problem is that they didn't report that at all. They only reported that Trump people were recorded but on who's phone? If it was a Russian line being tapped and they happened to get recordings of Trump people, that's a far cry from Trump himself being the subject of wire-tapping.

I'm sure the draft talk will pickup once the final rankings are out & the combine has happened. Who gets drafted, signed, invited to NFL camp will also affect where players land... lots of variables still in play.

Yep, UDFA in his last year of junior. The Rangers & Canadiens brought him to some prospect camps/tournaments before the season started so there's been NHL interest for a while.

Braidwood actually had an mma fight before he went into boxing. He tko'd future UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo in his only mma fight back in 2007. It was the 1st fight for both guys and the only time Jimmo was ever finished by strikes (injury stoppage excluded). The Canadian MMA scene is pretty dead right now so he's definitely going to make more money in boxing. The funny thing is that 4 of his 8 boxing matches have been against MMA fighters.
