Who among our our draftees has eligibility left?

QB Kolton Browning
That's how I read it. Marve wont take a PR so the staff have no choice but to promote him at 3rd string. Both Hall and Brohm probably wont take a PR too so the decision comes down to who stays between Brohm and Hall. And judging by their pre-season performance, it's not a hard decision to make.

I tend to agree but I'm going to ask anyways, What the hell type of scheme are we running when we have no interest in Laurent or Hickman? Don't you normally want the best players who are available and you make it work? If we aren't signing guys based on schemes we are setting ourself up for failure. Ratio breaking tackle in Laurent, pass cuz he doesn't fit the scheme? Hickman, i'm not sure what you'd get with him, he's been gone a while but to pass on him just because of scheme? Seems ridiculous. How many guys are we going to not be interested in due to scheme? Much as we would have liked to have Laurent here and will undoubtedly never hear the end of it from some guys, Laurent was a free agent and not terribly likely to come here regardless of scheme. In my opinion, Winnipeg would have been last on his list of teams to play for. As for the DL, they will be expected to attack from multiple angles, overload sides, drop into coverage on occasion and disguise blitzes. As I understand our defense that is. To do any of this they will have to be fast and dynamic. I don't know how well Peach is suited to this. Vega and Turner would seem ideal. Thomas is Canadian, but if he can also be relatively fast with this feet, that's a big step. If we were living in 2011 and looking for someone to replace Doug Brown in a 4-3 Greg Marshall defence, Laurent would be the best choice I could think of. Sticking him in this defence would likely be a disaster. He would not be able to do anything required of him. In that sense, IF Bilukidi becomes available comes August, should the Bombers pursue him? Does he fits Etch scheme?

CFL cuts
Hickman is a hell of player, but I think management is pretty happy with Vega and Peach on the ends. It's not being happy about what we have. It's about adding a player that will be impactful to us. What do you think of a DL with Vega, Turner, Anderson, Hickman with Peach as the DI. The only challenge that I could see how we fit it on the ratio.

Closer Look at Canadian Depth
Walters should pickup some N's on the last cutdown date. A decent OL and DL can make our ratio-management a little bit better.

Paris Cotton injury update
Ford wasn't here yet. It was Garrett, Simpson and Dorzon. I stand corrected. Garrett is projected as the starter that year, his backup Simpson was injured earlier. With Garrett's injury, Dorzon started the game 1, with Woodson as his only backup since Volny is still recovering from his own injury. Ford was signed after a few days.

Paris Cotton injury update
Kinda remind me of Garrett injury after finishing ahead of Ford at the end of TC 2012. Ford benefited from that injury. Btw, what is Garrett up to this days...

lets trade for that Antolin guy from BC

Bombers add 3, release 2
He started game 1 poorly, but looked good in the later part of the game. It was nice to see he could carry it over into the next game. Progress and improvement over the course of camp is a good sign. If a guy is okay but never improves beyond that no matter how many reps he gets, he will probably never be better than okay. Are you talking about Max Hall here?

JWJ any early impression on the 2 new INTL players... Bolton and Dell ?

Bombers add 3, release 2
I could be wrong but by my count the Bombers is standing at 66 right now (excluding 6 non-counters, 6-gamers guys Lucas and Newman) ... I think another 1 got to go unless someone is going to 6-game IR

Bombers add 3, release 2
There is no way Ian Wild wouldn't be on the game day roster, guy is too good, especially in comparison to our other linebackers. agree. on our eyes he is but Etch has a different set of eyes.

Bombers add 3, release 2
That means we will have a "wild" long-snapper

Bombers add 3, release 2
I hope the LS Blake release means Wild would be at least a DI during game day. Btw, I look stupid now when I said before that Blake job is safe. Just show how much I know.

- Bombers add 3, release 2
Jim Toth @JimTothSports 13m As per @Dave_CHED #Bombers signing receiver Mark Dell just released from #Eskimos still find Dell's release very puzzling He has 6 rec for 75 yds on Edm first pre-season game. Although he has 1 fumble lost- Brohm passes Hall on the depth chart?
I haven't watched/heard the video yet but Bauming mentioned that there's no mention of Hall when talking about QBs from O'shea's yesterday's presser . It also makes sense that Marve (will) takes up the 3rd string, short yardage, change of pace QB, since he's the most mobile and strongest arm among the 4. I don't think the decision will not be based on McManus' guy vs Mack's guy, although it may put a bit of a weight to it. Performance wise Brohm improved from pre-season 1 to pre-season 2, whereas Hall stall. Hall's throwing interception on the red zone probably sealed his fate. - Bombers add 3, release 2
