This Shitty Season vs Previous Shitty Seasons
2005 we won more games but those guys could not stop anyone. 500 yards offence against was the norm that year.

Worst Bomber QBs
Casey Bramlet. Not worst ever but wish Kliff Kingsbury would of stuck around, what he is doing at Texas Tech is amazing.

New Bomber Board Member Via Public Nomination
The Bombers aren't publicly owned, their a Non Profit Organization, so the Board would have to approve any take over. To be accurate they are "community-owned team" No they themselves says they are a non profit organization.

"True Colours" article in the Sun
The other way to compensate for that is through leadership from the coaches though... prepare the players better so they don't get overwhelmed in game situatioins, make sure the veterans aren't trying to do their job and the other guys job... It all starts with coaching. Oh definitely coach should help that. Also guys should not make the team just based on who can jump the highest or run the fastest in practice. A vet might not be the better athlete but will make up for the fact he is not by being able to out think the opponent. That's Mack downfall is he fell in love with athletes who he thought could be coached into becoming a player instead of having guys with experience and less overall talent.

"True Colours" article in the Sun
Listening to Edwards and Johnson on Jim Toth radio show this week. They said that the majority of the problems is having so many rookies in the line up. During the week they would excute the game plan flawlessly but when the bullets would fly for real its like they forgot everything and made mistakes which led to a lot of big plays. It also led to the vets trying to do too much because they did not trust the guys they had beside them. Hearing this I think there is talent there it just needs to augmented with some veteran free agents this offseason. If its a complete blow up next year is not going being much better than this year.

Arash Madani: Miller Trying to Force Rick Worman On Walters
You think Buono clears things like that with Braley (or whomever has the CEO position in BC). Or Huffer with whomever? I bet there is conversation. Probably goes like this: Wally: I want to bring in this QB for Benevides to work out. Braley et al: Yes Wally. Wally: Shut up. Just kidding. But really, shut up. Was not talking about bringing in a third string practice squad quarterback. I am talking this offseason when we go after the guy to be #1. If you don't think there are conversations between all members in a professional organization when major decisions are made I think you need to give your head a shake.

Arash Madani: Miller Trying to Force Rick Worman On Walters
To me it would ludicrous if Walters found the QB he wanted to bringing in a he did not talk it over with Miller before he pulled the string.

Arash Madani: Miller Trying to Force Rick Worman On Walters
He said from the start that they will make decisions with input from everyone. That was of the problem before was one guy was making the decisions (Mack) with no input.

If you are big name player it would be a lot easier once you are established to get some endorsement money on the side than Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal.

Just heard lots of negative stories about the guy. Wasn't well liked. Lyle Bauer's buddy. He never played the game at a high level. How can someone truly be in personnel if they have no experience coaching or playing at least at the CIS or NCAA level? How can Ross evaluate talent? I mean, if Hodgkinson was such a valuable guy to have around why is he still unemployed? He was let go last off season. No other CFL team has seen fit to hire him since which tells me what other teams think of him. If he was that good he'd have been working by now. Major League Baseball is chalked full of player personnel people that's only have graduate degrees in statistics.- New Bomber Board Member Via Public Nomination

Kyle Walters has 20 years of Canadian football experience he has run his own program in OUA he has played and coached in the league. Personally I think he is ready for this.- "True Colours" article in the Sun

I think Jim Bell was acting CEO.- Max Hall a tough son of a gun.
Seeing him dragged off the field Thursday it looked like he would be done but he is back out running the first team offence today. This might be the best news of the year. Will not have to deal with 4 quarters of Jason Boltus.- Wallace Miles
Edwards I think said its up to the Bombers to pick up the option if not he would probably retire.- Andrew Harris & Brendan LaBatte
Kackert when healthy can be in that league. Does not get the carries because Ricky Ray is there.- Oakland Waives Christo Bilukidi
Edmonton wasn't exactly a powerhouse in Rays last few years there. but they were 11-7 in his last year there and look how much of a disorganized mess that team looked without him. With a Ricky Ray it makes it so much easier to build a team because you know exactly what kind of offence to install because you know what Ray does well and it makes receivers look good cause he's putting balls right where they can be caught. He's pretty f'ing good and will make a team better, no doubt about that. Edmonton did put up some losing seasons with him though. Adding Ray to a hot mess of a team will only cool that mess, not fix it completely. Toronto has a pretty good team, and coaching staff, around Ray, which is helping him to do things like what happened last night. but it's worth remembering that the argos were only 9-9 last year, and this year they're in the absolute shits of a conference. I don't think the Argos are as good a team as the hype. They're really only first in the east because the Bombers are so inept this year and the Als are only slightly less inept. Hell the ticats look like a real team this year because of it too. You put a qb like Ray out there it make everything look better. Honestly the only thing that matters is that they got a decent looking coach in Milanovich and got Ray, but there are any number of GMs who can hire a good coach which is the biggest thing. Barker didn't look like he'd built much of a team when he had Cleo Lemon as his qb. Argos are beatable when Kackert is not in the line up. When he is in they are very tough to stop. Teams have to respect the run just a tad more and Ray takes advantage of that. - Lock of the Week 18 Results and 19 Entries
