Funny with less than 9 games for most teams only one has clinched a playoff spot. The distance between the top 9 teams in each division is not that great.

With the longer pat I like you can return it for two points if you return it all the way back. No penalty such as bad field position for returning it out so all should be return if possible.

Slater does two important things take face offs and kill penalties that get you a decent contract in the league. Pardy is another guy that is undervalued in the same way he was on of the best penalty killers on the team. Look how it has turned around since he has been in the lineup every night.

Buff is basically a home town guy with this team with Roseau only being a couple hours away. Plus he can be the face of franchise here not many other places he will be that. Get him a few free fishing trips up north a year and he will be satisfied.
