I would agree that we can't score ONLY field goals if we want to beat Calgary. Fortunately the offence has scored at least one TD in every game since Nichols took over. Do we need to score a touchdown on every drive? No. Do we need to score more touchdowns than field goals? Also, no. People ***** about the conservative style of offence but I don't see anyone complaining about them never turning the ball over. Two sides of the same coin.

I'd also like to add that Foley is awful, awful, awful as the GM of RAW. I'm not talking about talent or booking decisions as that is obviously not actually under his control... I mean having him on the mic. Why does RAW have to open with Foley and Steph? Who cares about them? And why was Roman fighting KO in a cage match? What was the point of that? Roman is involved in the Universal championship feud but he's fighting Rusev for the US title at Clash of Champions? What's going on? What's happening with all the squash matches for Braun and lady-Braun (Nia)? Is this leading to something? Is Cesaro-Sheamus leading to something? Does anyone care? They're all over the place! They're totally wasting Braun Strowman. I would make him trim the beard and then repackage him totally as a biker, like Undertaker as American Badass. Let him on the mic as a badass rather than a Wyatt-type creepy guy. Axe the garbage intro music and give him something cool. He has so much talent that they are not letting him show because they want him to be the big dumb gronk... he could be so much more.

Haha let's hope so... Calgary had a chance to go 16-2 in 2014 which would have been the best record of all time. They lost in the final game of the regular season to Marvelous Marve and the Bombers (who were breaking a long losing streak of their own). They finished 15-3 and of course that year the Stamps won the Grey Cup.

Not surprising that ratings are down. Too much catering to the hardcore fan, not enough done to cater to the casual fan and bring in new fans.

I fully expect Saskatchewan to beat Hamilton this week.

Medlock has been the best kicker the Bombers have ever had. What more can you ask for? Worth every penny.

I like TB4ever's choices up to this point in the season. I'd lean towards Stanley Bryant on the OL but otherwise agree. Matt Nichols may just become the Bombers' MOP by the end of the year but Harris makes the most sense right now.

I don't know if Thorpe would be pissed... is taking over Montreal right now good for the career? I'm not so sure...

Going to have to be another turnover-free game for the Bombers to win. The Stamps aren't going to turn it over more than once... maybe twice if we're lucky. Find a way to limit Messam and Marquay McDaniel who both seem to kill the Bombers regularly. I could see it coming down to a last second field goal.

Interesting comparison there. They play a similar style. Butler and Loffler both had dominant combines but still went a little later in the draft. Unfortunately Butler's body seems to have broken down. Hopefully Loffler can stay healthy but some of those hits look like car crashes.

We're making the playoffs. You don't get rid of these guys after we're just starting to see the result of what they've been building. Might as well talk extension now because they're not going anywhere.

Didn't watch this one but it looks like it turned out in our favour. Edmonton has really taken a big step back this year.
