Game 74 : Jets @ Canucks
Hutchinson confirmed for tonight.

Kovalchuk To Return to NHL?
I'd love to see one of the owners refuse to sign off on him coming back. Good player, but I've never liked him.

Game 74 : Jets @ Canucks
That is an interesting stat. Our remaining games are pretty brutal. Five wins doesn't seem like a gimme.
-
Game 73: Jets @ Oilers
I wouldn't say anything about tomorrow's starter until we see how Pavelec does tonight. If he's bombarded with 40 shots, or stinks the joint out, play Hutchinson. If it's an easy night and he does well, put him back in.

Game 71: Blues @ Jets
Goalie's rants are always entertaining.

Game 71: Blues @ Jets
Yeah right. Erik Karlsson won the Norris in 2012, and he was a train wreck defensively. Mike Green has been nominated for it, and he's even worse defensively.

Big shock Bogo hurt for the Sabres ...
You're giving yourself too much credit. He's not ripped as much anymore because he's been much more complimentary of both teams over the last year or so. There's less to get mad about now.

Big shock Bogo hurt for the Sabres ...
Who really cares? A bunch of people, wanna know how i know? because this topic started as IC saying bogo was hurt again, all i said was wish i could tell a story about bogo that i was told and then it turned into drug problems this, drug issues that. Who really cares? You do, otherwise you wouldn't respond back. Thought you were done with this convo? You said a cop told you. Why would the cops be involved if somebody was just cheating on his girlfriend? Are you now insinuating that they're domestic abusers?

Assimilation (We Are Borg?)
"Indian" is a pretty loaded word.

Around the CFL Offseason Discussion
Pencer was terrible in the preseason action he got last year. I'd be shocked to see him ever play regularly in the CFL. Swiston might if he can stay healthy.

Buff and Myers practising today!
I'd start Pavelec in our next game, but not b/c of any supposed controversy. Play him b/c he's had a good game more recently than Hutchinson has. Hutch hasn't been good enough lately to have his feelings hurt over potentially losing a start.

Game 69 : Jets @ Lighting
Very impressed that a team so lacking in heart and talent, and with nothing to play for since they're guaranteed to miss the playoffs, could pull that one out.

Bombers draft & FA camp prep
We have recent history of a terrible high pick on an OL too. Take who you think is the best and don't let past mistakes made by other people shape your decision.
-
Bombers draft & FA camp prep
I'm fully on board with a receiver at #2. The three top end guys will almost certainly be gone before our 2nd pick, but there will still be good OL there.
-
Bombers draft & FA camp prep
Montreal has only taken an OL with their first pick once in the last four years.

In the neighbourhood
It's not in effect after 5:30 or on weekends. I agree that it's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
-
In the neighbourhood
Is that on Vermillion? There was a sign at the bus stop going the other way too.

Game 68 : Jets @ Panthers
There are a few respectable goalies who could potentially hit the market this summer that would be good backups. If we can trade Pavelec I say do it and end the soap opera.

Game 67: Jets @ Blues
Back breaking goals are Pavelec's thing. He's usually good for at least one bad goal per game. Not usually that bad though...

Tickets for potential Jets playoff games won't be cheap
On first look I thought $250 was per game, and I still would have paid it...

Free agency news
I'd take that bet.

Bombers sign RB Bradley Randle
http://www.bluebombers.com/article/Blue-Bombers-Add-Running-Back Hopefully he stays this time... edit: Not sure if this is worth it's own thread, but nothing else is going on.

More problems at IGF?
Funny, I always thought that whether you are unionized or not, you still had to pass the same standards to be qualified as a journeyman. Ooops. Sorry. More logic. Have to pass the same standards yes. Union labour is not unqualified labour. If you are going to make an argument against unionized labour it would be that it generally costs more and is less productive. If you are forced to hire unionized workers then you can only hire out of union shops. That takes many very good companies out of play as options for subcontracting. It narrows down and limits options and effects cost control. That's just straight up logic for you. When cost control is effected, so too will the final product. I can't believe they're legally able to uphold that requirement. The NDP doesn't even pretend it's not beholden to unions.

The Wild Card race aka hockey's Final Four
Seem to recall they both were on CHI when they won. So Ladd has 2? Yes, Ladd has won twice.
