Today's news. Mulumba will get a one-way ticket to injured reserve, which means the Packers will soon have an empty roster spot. He’ll join three other guys with torn ACLs there. Mulumba was primarily used on special teams this season. He had been credited with one tackle. In 2013, Mulumba made the team as an undrafted free agent and actually started three games at outside linebacker. Last year he notched 30 tackles and a sack. This isn’t a huge blow to the Packers, considering Mulumba’s role on defense has been more or less nonexistent in 2014.

This is a great idea, is this the first year we done this? I recall us always bringing up late NFL cuts up here to look at. This way you can have many to look at and bring to Winnipeg the select few..

Child Warrior Andy Mulumba had to be helped off the field in the fourth quarter of the Green Bay Packers’ win over the New York Jets on Sunday. Mulumba hurt his knee covering a punt. On Monday, coach Mike McCarthy called that injury significant. And you know what that means. Another torn ACL, as this is the Year of the Torn ACL for the Green Bay Packers. Actually, we don’t know that it’s a torn ACL yet, but when the Packers are calling a knee injury significant, that usually means it’s one of the season-ending variety. So, welcome to injured reserve, Child Warrior Andy Mulumba! “It didn’t look good during the game, and it doesn’t sound very good,” McCarthy said. If/when Mulumba’s season is officially declared over, he’ll join nose tackle B.J. Raji, receiver Jared Abbrederis, tackle Don Barclay, tackle Aaron Adams, linebacker Nate Palmer and defensive tackle Khyri Thornton on injured reserve. Three of those guys — Abbrederis, Barclay and Adams have torn ACLs. The good news is Mulumba’s injury appears to be the only significant one in Sunday’s win.

Calgary is the Dallas of Canada. I like Calgary but the downfall is it's altitude. You often don't get hot weather and expect snow anytime.

I like Calgary, a rich beautiful city with great roads.yes, it has out grown it's road system but not a bump anywhere. Edmonton ..just never ever liked that City.

We need a couple Canucks, that being OL or DL. Late NFL cuts being a MLB and a RB that are big. A free agent OL that is a Canuck would be nice to sign this winter.

I agree,I hope we bring in a MLB from those last NFL cuts. It's always up to Wild to do the tackling. DT Canuck BIlukida at 6-5 320 would help a lot on the run.

Bukilidi could be in town in a couple weeks, he would fit in very good as a DT. He is a very Beefed up boy that will help on the run.

NFL cuts this weekend, we are going to see WR's coming in. Moore is not our answer.

A calf injury does not sound serious , a knee injury can be bad......just ask Bobby Orr.

Bring up LB and DT that have more beef and can tackle,teams can run against the Bombers.

Free Agent time this Winter Walters must pick a starting Cdn OL. There gotta be one available, it will free up another spot plus make our OL much better.

How did we come out of the Sask. game injury wise? A Tuesday game with Monday flight day leaves you no time to get over injuries...
