I really didn't want to see Burris here to tell the truth, but again it's the optics and what that says about our team, fair or not. What Mike is saying about FA avoiding this place like the plague has merit and is not good for the survival of this franchise. Seriously, it's already starting with the fanbase. Anyone think signing Burris wouldn't have instantly helped with the ticket sales?

Have you ever thought of becoming Henry Burris's agent?

If Burris is going sign here I hope he hurries up a bit, it's taking him almost as long as it does for Goltz to read a defence

I guess it's all relative to how much tension you're under

I'm curious about how well the Ticats will actually do without Burris running their offence. Sure "what's his name" played great for Toronto when called on but this is a new system and he's still virtually a rookie. Something tells me Hamilton is not going to do that well this year and many will say they should have re-signed Henry.

Fair or not Walters and Miller have to deal with the legacy of both Mack and Kelly. They need to sign him to show the difference they will provide to the way we now will operate (ie. spend some money for the sake of winning).
