Maybe Wades not emasculating MOS but pushing him to grow a set in the way he operates re his coaching staff?

I wonder how much meddling has gone on with some of the successful teams in this league? I'm at the point of not caring how it's done anymore, just that it's done ...

What many of us diehards don't see is that a lot of people, particularly the young, don't identify with this team like they once did. We're talking 2 generations here. My son was 5 when the Bombers last won the Cup. No recall of a champion Bomber team. He stopped caring quite awhile ago it seems and his kids have no interest in the Bombers. Not that I haven't tried and invited them with me to games or even watching them on TV. Very sad. I remember going to games with my Dad in the 70's, that time like now was a long Grey Cup drought. There was interest and I became a fan because the teams were generally good, Dieter and the boys. Be nice to have that kind of excitement and relevance with the youth again ... even 2001 seems like a long time ago. A few more years of this and a shiny new stadium won't even be enough.

Maybe Harris next season?

Trying to say that the team is turning off it's fanbase and not inspiring new fans right now. Haven't been for quite a few seasons. Yes there are us hardcore loyalists who also buy tickets but where are the numbers going to be if the perception of this team because of the won/loss record, continues to stink like limburger to many? I know they say they are trying, maybe they are, but they simply aren't getting the job done and that's the bottom line.

*See the recent Blue Bomber model. Good Job Bombers! Our kids are now Jet fans, NFL fans, even frickin Blue Jay fans, not much concern by that demo it seems for the CFL. Constant losing can do that ...

Not that it matters but the kicking left 4 makeable points off the board. Gotta make those in big games. We're going for a short fg to tie at the end if we do. Not that that was our biggest issue ...

I want a clean slate in the coaching dept with some of the good players that have been added and drafted kept of course. I still believe with proper coaching, this squad could be in the playoffs. I really want to see how Willy does with a new OC. I want to see how this D performs with a more aggressive coordinator etc.

So bringing in PR guys for a look is going to bankrupt the franchise? Not sure where this idea comes from other than up your butt or something but how the heck are we going to improve without constantly trying to get better?

No prob whatsoever with bringing players in for a looksee, no matter what time in the season. Cal Murphy did that all the time and unearthed quite a few gems (I believe Greg Battle arrived that way). What is the harm? Seriously?
