Edmonton vs Ottawa
Burris is throwing the ball right between the numbers of opposing linebackers and overshooting receivers worse than he has in years, which for him is quite the accomplishment. He's every bit a part of the problem.

Edmonton vs Ottawa
That team will never be anything as long as Desjardins is calling the shots.

Marcel is going to give Dressler and/or Matthews whatever they want when they're cut.

Packers ESPN beat writer projects Andy Mulumba won't make final roster
Rob Demorvsky, one of the Green Bay Packers beat writers for ESPN projects that Andy Mulumba will not make the final roster. Mulumba is currently third on the Packers depth chart at his left outside linebackers position behind Clay Matthews and Mike Neal. Demorvsky, who is typically very accurate in his analysis, visions the team keeping 10 linebackers, and Mulumba being beat out by rookie Carl Bradford. http://espn.go.com/blog/green-bay-packers/post/_/id/11659/green-bay-packers-projected-roster-4 http://www.packers.com/team/depth-chart.html

Roll up the sleeves.....
Bang on. Nobody has any idea what the other options were on the play, and Marcel doesn't tell Willy where to throw the ball. He reads pre snap, he reads the defence after the snap, goes through his progressions and makes a decision. Unfortunately it was the wrong decision. End of story.

Our new jersey
Is this what it's going to look like? I sure as hell hope not...

Roll up the sleeves.....
The DB has every opportunity to jump an out route if he's giving cushion if he reads the play properly, just as he did jumping in front of JFG. The call was fine, whether you like it or not. Willy telegraphed the throw, end of story. The return wasn't minimal either. It very likely would have been good enough to convert for a first down considering it was second down and less than five to go. It was situational football and the right call was made, it was just executed poorly. As I said though, Willy will learn from it. We're in very good hands with him but as is the case with any quarterback, there will be mistakes.

Riders unveil their "Signature Look" jersey
Here is a better look of the jersey without the photo effects to try and enhance the jersey...quite butt **** ugly now that I've seen this.

Roll up the sleeves.....
Underthrow and a tad late. But yes, perfectly happy as well having him lead the ship for sure. Picks, and pick sixes will happen. That's football. It happens to the best of them.

Riders unveil their "Signature Look" jersey
Normally I'd say it's pretty bad, but I suppose considering how teams down south like Seattle, Jacksonville, and Tampa Bay have modified their jerseys, this sort of style is slowly starting to become more popular and I've become more numb to it I guess.. I miss the traditional football jersey though I must say.

Football is a simple game
Oh hey....

Roll up the sleeves.....
JFG was just one of the options on the play. The call is fine. There were other players running routes. Willy wasn't pressured on the throw. It was just simply a poor read. That one is on him, and to his credit he knows it and he'll learn from it. MB, as much as I dislike like his calls, is not to blame for the pick six.

Football is a simple game
Did not think the sacks were THE problem last night. Sacks AND pressure. They go hand in hand with each other. If Willy has time to do his job this game isn't even close.
-
Henoc Muamba
Something to keep in mind going forward - Indy was down three inside linebackers during the game so Henoc got a lot of playing time. It will be interesting to see how he fairs when they get those bodies back, assuming they aren't long term injuries.

Running Game
You can certainly blame them for the last one. Quite easily in fact. You can also blame them for the sack/fumble that resulted in the touchdown as well. Had the line done their job on that play there is no touchdown and there is no Washington fumble either on the return after. That's 10 points. We lost by 6. Simple concept.

Running Game
I'd ask Taman what he wants for Allen for sure. I doubt that will happen though. Not being critical of Walters with that comment but you rarely see backs traded, and O'Shea has given no indication he is unhappy with Grigsby.

Bombers release RB Will Ford
Have to laugh that Ford retweeted this comment considering he was benched for the large majority of the second half: Tyson Craney @hellbillyphd 7 yds rushing for Grigsby tonight, good thing y'all cut @_GODSWILL2886_ Wpg lol Retweeted by Will Ford

Football is a simple game
Jackson had only one decent return that I recall. Lirim's punt went to the middle of the field and Jackson took it to the sideline up alone the Bomber bench. If I was grading Lirim tonight I'd give him a B for his work tonight for that, plus the illegal kickoff out of bounds he had.

GDT: Saskatchewan @ Winnipeg
In his prime, no doubt. Reid hit that "running back wall" as hard as anyone I can remember in the CFL when it happened though.
