All preseason games will have been played by tonight (Friday).   Final cutdown day is Saturday (May 31), and a whole new season kicks off on Thursday.
Been a long winter and glad football is back.  Lets F'n go!
Pick 'Ems are back this year.
How do they work?   Each week you pick the winners for all CFL games (including playoffs).  You get one point for every correct pick.  Whoever has the most points at the end of the year wins a $50 gift certificate at the Bomber store.
Picks will be done through the polling system.  Polls close at game start of the first game of the week.  I will accept picks for games that have not started yet through PMs if you are late getting them in.
Picks this week need to be in by 8PM Thursday, June 5th

Looking forward to seeing Strev build on last week and really put together some nice drives. Continue to show that he can be an actual QB and win games for us.

The decision on receivers has to be who fits the offense best mostly meaning who works best with the QB's.
Kind of in a bind if our returner isn't an offensive player so it would be nice if a guy like Stearns saw that as a path to make the team and refused to take no for an answer on getting reps on punts.

I'm excited for Wheatfall. Seems like he has upped his game to be a bit  more dynamic.

I’ve spent years researching this and I am fairly confident that Booch is the Rock

First 2 weeks of the regular season are preseason still.

I’m not too stressed on the vets staying home. They know exactly what they bring to the table. More time for the rookies to show they can play.  Pretty much every team leaves some vets home for the road preseason game. 

Our QBs are set. Streveler is taking the lions share of the reps because he will be starting first game. Collaros takes reps because he isn't playing for weeks after. Wouldn't be surprised if Arto and Wilson get very limited reps or none at all.
Like others have said, for some guys we know exactly what they bring and are being left home. Especially the guys on D. They don't need to get into a rhythm.
Everyone else is getting more of a chance to put things on film

This is how I feel. I would love to believe Kyrie staying home means he hasn’t made the team but what has our front office ever done that would suggest that?

I’m going to take it as a positive and say there’s going to be a lot of tough decisions to make, and they want to get the young players an extended look. 

I'm going to be positive and say that hopefully we are all surprised on cutdown day.

None of my posts are cut and dried or anything. It’s a simple like I said pre season BS. I mean hey it’s week 2 of pre season vs the same team from last week on the wonderfully crappy cfl plus app again. This time tho, we bringing the B and C teams tho. Fun. Last week was a good game. I hope this one is also. I’m not cutting guys or making roster decisions. I’m just talking football on a football site. I played hockey soccer golf baseball tennis badminton volleyball and hackey sack. I was too small for football. By the time I grew it was 2 late. I’m just a random fan in a hat and jersey some times. Maybe toque. But that’s like 99 percent of us on here. I’m sure some bomber peeps might lurk from time to time. 

Need to plan ahead for potential injuries, nothing is as cut and dried as you make it. 
Anyone know which players might be missing the game due to injury?

What about Vaughters?
