There's really something to be said for doing what the coaches want (taking direction well), whether right or wrong, in the grand scheme of things......

I'll start things off with a vote for Marve this week...

MOS on why Marve is 3rd on the chart (via Wpg FP): "The fans see great excitement (in Marve) and moving the ball, especially with his feet. We’d like (Marve) to wait the extra second and make that throw if it’s open. And he sees that himself... He still has some growth."

You know what was the single biggest thing that scared me last night? This is one of the first times I can remember a MOS team looking totally flat and having no energy. At no point in that game last night did I feel like we were in it, or had a chance. Hamilton dictated play and it felt like we were just out there going through motions. That's not the MOS way and I don't care to see it ever again.

3rd Kicker would be either Rifles or Bisons Kicker....

Most concerning thing is Willy and the 1s on O looked less than sharp. Re: Richards, team already said Upper Body Injury, but please do keep crying about lack of info or misinformation....

It is possible that their plan @ #4 has been Jordan Yantz all along and that the battle for a QB position has been between Marve and Portis. That's a possibility I guess. It appears that Janz will dress on Friday night. With Willie getting the first half, that leaves little time for the others to battle it out, and virtually no time for Janz. I'm thinking if he doesn't play, then he will either be cut or put on the PR if there's room.Aside from assigning him a different name to throw off the opposing teams, I can see the Bombers following the traditional path and releasing the Canadian QB (Yantz) because...well what's the point, right?But the Bombers and Walters/O'Shea are working a little differently than others we've seen and I can dare to dream. You know I feel that these guys are different. My daughter used to work in the stadium kitchen and O'Shea asked her how the players treated her at the buffet lines. He explained to her that how the players treat staff tells a lot about players. (my daughter says that eating meat is usually on the players mind). The previous coach she never saw. That's a really neat story, for sure...and shows a lot about MOS. On the other end of the spectrum, I've heard of at least one business-side staffer who's quit because of Wade, fwiw....

The only thing that gives me pause and makes me wonder if they'd keep Yantz is that Walters/MOS have a major jones-ing for NIs. If they could start an entire roster of Canadians, they'd do it, just to prove a point. Hell, their talk today of starting 9 NIs possible, terrifies me...

I'm not saying I agree, and I'm pretty sure I'll get flamed for even passing it along, but I saw something on Twitter the other day where Steve Morley was saying "...When he's healthy, Patrick Neufeld is one of the best OL in the entire league, period..." So...there's something to be said for having the respect of your peers....
