  1. Tough to judge him when his franchise QB has gone down early in both his seasons at the helm. At least now we have a competent back-up. Gotta give him next year for sure...
  2. Payroll is lower this season than the two before, right at MLB average. Nice of MLB to schedule the Jays ALDS home games during weekday afternoons so nobody can watch. What is this about it being scheduled in the afternoon? They haven't even determined the time. For us in the MST, it's like Noon on Thursday, and 10:30am (!!!) on Friday...
  3. Interesting that they're admitting it finally and at least APPEARING to do something about it. Keep the boys off the powder...
  4. Career *******....multiple times repeat offender.....deserves this and a whole lot more.
  5. No f***ing kidding...100% agreed.
  6. Well, I'm a fan, so I'm stoked for another week of Bombers ball and praying for a much needed win.....
  7. Manitoba Sports Fan logic......
  8. Really surprised about Draisitl, but they figure it was between him and Slepyshev, and that was no contest. "Dr. Drai" will benefit from seasoning on the farm.
  9. It worked for Ritchie, who had the same conditions...
  10. The optics of the situation do not allow for extending him, unless something really crazy happens the rest of the way here. Now, if he starts off fast next year, you extend him early...absolutely.
  11. Yeah, that'll absolutely help his confidence....good call.
  12. Also, Oilers waived Ben Scrivens. They'll have sophomore Cam Talbot starting and a rookie, Nilsson, backing up.
  13. Harper needed a miracle and this worked for awhile, but as people learn about it, it's working against him.
  14. Talking heads were tweeting last night that Burmi is likely on the block right now.
  15. He set a club record for completion percentage last year on his way to being the East Div MOR. He's having a sophomore slump and I guarantee you, there's nobody who wants to fix it more than him.
  16. Kid had the yips real bad. Can't forget all he did last year. He'll get this worked out but it might take having a separate punter. This stuff happens and I just feel bad for him more than anything.
  17. Yeah, Drew Willy is outstanding and I think a lot of people have just forgotten for whatever reason. I like Nichols, and what he's doing right now is actually admirable, but there's a big dropoff there...
  18. So if this case goes away between now and then, what's wrong with the bobblehead?
  19. Yeah, we've had a lot worse back-ups. He's a poor man's Drew Tate...
  20. It's news because Stephen Harper wants it to be. He preys on dumb voters...I agree, but I would use the word ignorant. You are one hundred percent correct. Ignorant is the perfect word. It's the same people who voted Con because of the reduction in GST. Ugh.
  21. Man I came on here now to answer for my previous post... Yikes. Stamps, what up??
  22. It's news because Stephen Harper wants it to be. He preys on dumb voters...
  23. Calgary is going to kick the ever living crap outta Ham tonight...
  24. Pretty much the only true thing you've said in unnecessary back-to-back posts....
  25. Sure we are, but you would have to spread that over two or three seasons. We'd be BETTER than a 10-win team if Willy stayed healthy all year...I firmly believe that.
