Seen a lot of stuff on Twitter saying the Bombers having a really bad day, especially if they "miss out on" Westerman and LaFrance.....I dunno about that. I feel pretty good about things today...

Completely slipped my mind in the midst of all the craziness....yes, Nevis is the IMP to play next to Thomas. What we need now is a NI to rotate with JT...whether that's Butcher or whoever....we're good. No need for a big money NI just to rotate with JT...

There's an assumption that he's better than Jake Thomas, and I don't know that's 100% accurate. The key will be finding an Import to play beside him. I guess you could find a NI to rotate with JT, but it has to be cost-effective...it's really not worth spending big bucks on...

Not sure why there's so much hype around Jabar Westerman, other than he's Jamal's brother....unless the guy was coming in at exactly the price point we had in mind, I have no problem taking a pass there.

this is a name that's kinda flown under the radar this off-season, but he's a guy I'd like to see in B/G.....I became a big fan of his a few years back when he had his breakout season and got me a pile of Fantaseh points. I just look at the Calgary Stampeders, and sure they have Tate now, but at one point, BLM was the back-up there, and stepped up. Now, I'm not saying Davis is BLM, and I'm not saying every back up is going to be a superstar, but I think at some point you have to take that chance. Let the guy sink or swim on his own merits...
