this. Corus did it with their news outlet in Calgary recently, and the rumour is that they're going to do that in Winnipeg as well. It's all about saving money.... cutting all staff to the bare minimum. There's only so many ads you can sell in a province this size, so the only way to increase the margins is to cut costs to the bone.

rumour I'm hearing so far is that Corus is going to run 99.1 as an FM repeater of CJOB. Not confirmed, but that's the strong rumour. We shall see what happens. As always, I feel horrible for the employees tossed on their ass. Can't even imagine........though I kind of can.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why anyone gives a single solitary f*** about who Toronto is or isn't playing in this game. I want the Bombers to get 2pts and move on to the important game, in BC next week. I don't give a **** about the two supposed best teams in the league matching up... Interesting... I have only really seen him as Pietro Maximoff, but I enjoyed him in that role and know he's done a lot of good stuff outside that. Very interesting. I really love period pieces (I'm particularly fond of WW2 era stuff) so a throwback to 1960s MI6 would be a lot of fun.... here's hoping!

I'm not disagreeing with you at all.... I just don't think Osh will make the change you guys are hoping for. I think if Miller was 100%, they'd get him in for Jackson, and then would free up some other changes. But stranger things have happened... we'll see what the roster looks like this week. If Schoen is out, that might change some things as well.... or we just get Agudosi in....... who knows.
