Hello, Mr Mack??? Hello....

Do you keep a coach for the sake of consistency even if it's clear he can't ever produce a winner? Can the Bombers afford to just stand pat? I say no. If it's clear he is the wrong choice then the guy who hired him has to answer for his actions & the coach has to go.

Well, what exactly do people want? Not to fire Burke or to fire him? We can't have it both ways.... Some like 17, are saying we fire too many coaches. Others want him & mack gone. Discuss...

Then what are we bitching about??? Burke's the man. We should all get behind him with Buck Pierce.

I think Burke will be kept for financial considerations. Having to pay 3 head coaches simultaneously.... Not good.

From what I understand, Hughes isn't even playing. Players talk all the time & it's always cheap. Some more than others. Go out on the field & let your play do the talking.

I once saw Dieter Brock go 41 of 48 vs Ottawa in 1981. That was in my mind, until Matt Dunigan's 713 yard passing game vs Edmonton in 1993, the best performance by a qb I had ever seen anywhere, CFL or NFL. Brock absolutely dominated the Rough Riders in that game. They couldn't stop him & he was in a zone all by himself just shredding the Ottawa defense. And Dunigan had big play after big play in his game from his receivers. Matt was also ina zone but it was a completely different kind of a game. Ricky Ray wasn't flashy on Friday night like Brock or Dunigan were in their particular games mentioned... Ray was just machine like efficient. Patient & taking what the Bombers gave him short, medium or over the top. Ray is just a great qb in his own right.

I still think if Mack is fired then the new GM will keep Burke around for at least one more season because of financial reasons as in it's not good business practice to pay for 3 head coaches simultaneously... Mack is more on the hot seat if this team fails than Burke.

Bomber fans are always clamouring for consistency. I guess they got it but as is the Bomber way, we like to pay our head coaches to sit & not coach. We've been doing this since 2008, I believe. Signing an unproven head coach to a long term contract when he proved nothing is ludicrous.

One of the nice things about this place was you weren't here pumping Goltz like a child with a new toy on every post you made. You already have a website to do that & most of us don't care because we don't post there anymore. We all want Goltz to succeed but we don't need to have a guy here needlessly pumping Justin Goltz not because he likes him but instead to draw attention to himself. So yeah, play it cool here & you'll be welcome. Maybe I'm overstepping my bounds by saying my piece here as I'm not a mod but I like to think that the more knowledgeable Bomber fans hang out here. Therefore, we'll judge Goltz on his own merit & not from a cheerleader.
