Not the first time the Bombers (Burke) has screwed up. Anyone actually surprised that Buck wouldn't be told? As far as Buck is concerned being pissed off? Fella, c'mon. You HAD to know that this day was coming. How could you not?????? It seems everyone knew this would happen but you. The Bombers had to do this. It's the right thing to do.

I'll be totally happy when Buck doesn't dress for games & is on the sidelines coaching full time which means he never plays again. Until he takes his helmet off for good, he'll still find his way onto the field to play some way. Buck should be #3 helping both Goltz & Pierce develop.

No, they don't. A position coach will spend every minute of the game with his guys when they are on the sidelines if need be. A coordinator is planning the next series, talking to the coaches upstairs, calling plays, speaking to the HC. No way he can spend the time needed with a qb like a position coach can. Same in meetings & practices. The position coach, coaches. The coordinator coordinates.

Yeah, that's when he lost me as a believer in him as a leader. Just a completely moronic thing to say. I mean, how stupid can you be talking to TSN during a game & saying that when he wasn't even injured? I can tell you that there aren't many Stamps fans that want Huff to protect him. He just is one strange guy. Among the Stamps fanbase there's not a lot of confidence he's the guy long term.

Makes no sense does it? You'd think he'd clue in there's a problem with Shankman. It's almost to the point of being good riddance the way things are going there. Ultimately, OB will go down or become a ghost town. However, at the same time, Colin doesn't listen so anything that does happen is on him. It's his fault.

Look at the Toronto staff, they have Milanovich there & Marcus Brady. In Calgary Huff & Dickenson. In Sask they have Cortez. How can young qbs not thrive with guys like that coaching them? This organization has never put a lot of importance on hiring a qb coach. Yet, they constantly try to develop the next Tom Clements or Matt Dunigan with no success. They seem to feel it's more important to have a running back coach over a qb coach. Or a receivers coach over a qb coach & where have we failed in development? At the qb position over & over. Connect the dots & it's easy to see the problem. But I honestly think the people that run this team are clueless. Smart football people get hired & then walk thru the doors to their offices at Canad Inns or IGF & dumb right down.

OC's don't have time during games to talk to their qbs exclusively. Too many things going on which is why they need a qb coach.

But sometimes I feel that members here vent on the Sun & Freep knowing the team sucks just out of vindictiveness. The anger should be directed at chronic mismanagement & lousy coaching instead. Not football reporters.
