Here is the problem... there are some people who will vehemently deny that oshea has roster management problems and some that will take that denial entirely too seriously. Make no mistake, Mike oshea for being the best coach going had always had roster blind spots. Our roster usage was complete garbage last season. So I can understand why people get mad when it's denied. It's like denying the sky is blue. But it's also not as awful as some people think. Bombers did play most of the year on hard mode last year with their roster usage.

The only real thing that boost Allen is his success in championship games.... but how much is that really worth when the actual top qbs also have a plethora of grey cups too?

This is exactly what it is. When 100% healthy Bighill is still an OK player (but not the MODP type guy he used to be). If he is in anyway not 100% then his effectiveness drops off a ton. I'm OK with him as a cheaper vet but as a highly paid important cog? Not sure that's the best use of cap.

It's ok to admit that Allen wasn't an amazing passer and relied on his running to make his career as a qb. I won't ever question his playoff success, but dude was never a top teir passer (which is different from qb as a whole). Honestly Allen was a guy teams tended to settle for.

No, no one has ever said that. Just that he was a middling passer who got the yardage record through longevity.

People sell ford's passing short IMO. He ain't a world beater but he isn't as awful as some make him seem. He has a lot of development to do as a passer so it will be interesting to see if he manages to improve.

Yeah Mike Reilly went back for an assload of money that crippled the team. The entire point is to spend less on qb and get good results.

Mitchell is cooked though so it wasn't wrong to move on. Guess it depends on whether or not you think brown is better than maier... which I do personally. Was never impressed with maier. Too much throw short nonsense, didn't threaten a team with anything else. Ideally we can get brown back, but if he leaves and collaros continues to age (and let's not pretend that's not showing signs here) are we left with nothing but an aging star?

West final 2022 was probably ok as well. He took it personal with all the Rourke stuff but my memory is fuzzy.
