    Except Mueller outlined many crimes.

Little snow, but it was also cold as balls that day. The 25 or so of us the stands were really bundled up.

If it's as much of a nothing burger as you think why are Republicans fighting tooth and nail to hide any evidence? I mean christ hillary clinton sat in front of way more bullshit hearings and they found nothing. Trump can't even keep from getting in trouble on his own. It's just so strange that trump is the one who gets defended. It would be easy for regressive to throw him under the bus and get someone less obvious in their crime in his place. Or is he popular because he is normalizing the abhorrent behaviour that they had to keep a secret before? Regressives only hope at this point is to continue to rig the system cause trump is turning off normal people and pushing people left.

You know what that was? That was classic lapo thinking "hey The Fever can run, we don't need to risk throwing the ball without our starter that way!"
  5. Hey if Mike isn't being a smarmy ass to someone then why is he even here in the first place?

even if they heard it they'd ignore it anyway because even the heavily censored crap the republicans are letting out is damning. At this point I'm not even sure if they're playing dumb or are actually just THAT dumb. Sadly I think it might be the latter.

Funny when I think of the Borg I think more of regressive like yourself. No autonomy, complete group think, destroy everything in their wake. Resistance is futile.

The essentially had to constantly roll their qbs out and throw the ball quick or the qbs would be killed. Bombers D handled that offense well all season. Losses were only when they turned the ball over themselves.
  9. 17to85 replied to JCon's post in a topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Because he didn't. The riders offense really lacked anything of note to hurt the bombers that season regardless of who was at qb.

Collaros didn't suck with the riders, he was astoundingly average and injured a pile... but his win/loss record was solid.
  11. and I really don't think that's an accurate statement... That guy was as into the Grey Cup game as anyone and as into the post game celebrations with the fans as anyone. He seemed to really be enjoying everything and if the Bombers ask him back I bet he's back.

The democrats are a centre - right party. What the good old usa needs is an NDP equivalent. Then you get some real choice and you don't have an extreme right party pulling everyone to the right as opposed to a pull towards centre.
  13. God bless Wayne, the man never saw anything he wouldn't endorse.
  14. Never mind that Tim hortons is the least canadian place going. They are owned by a Brazilian multi national corporation are they not?

You are insane you know that right? You know which party it was that withheld evidence and witnesses right? Here's a hint, the same ones who don't want to have anyone testify in the impeachment trial, which is the real unprecedented thing. But hey you probably got some nut job right wing talking point about how that's all democrats too. Fact is trump has done a hell of a lot of things to be worthy of impeachment, but they only chose to go with these 2 very obvious ones. Which Republicans are just ignoring and holding a sham trial in the senate on. They even admitted to it. So how do you reconcile that?
  16. 17to85 replied to Rich's post in a topic in General Discussion
Also the mueller investigation was only a sham because republicans chose to ignore the fact that mueller found a pile of crimes. I would also love to see a source on the dems planning impeachment from day one... that seems like yet more projection cause it was actually republicans who were planning on starting impeachment the day clinton was sworn in had she won.

what makes it partisan? Calling it partisan implies that you believe that Trump has done nothing wrong... Do you believe that and please explain why you think this behaviour is acceptable. Please note that "both sides" is not an acceptable answer as I have tried to tell you many times. Hell there he is flat out admitting he's done what got him impeached. Do you believe that congressional oversight is a partisan thing?

Hey when you have tiny hands....
  19. That article is purely fishing for a story. Notice how the quotes are all from an agent and not the player? Guarantee that Naylor reached out to anyone who would talk just to get something to drive clicks. So he got the agent who is clearly going to be stoking the fires trying to get his client the best pay day possible. Here's what I'd suspect: Nichols wants to stay as the starter for the Bombers and if they told him they were going to prioritize Collaros then yeah he would be disappointed, and that's understandable. But let's not pretend that it's Nichols out there raising a stink. He's handling it out of the public spotlight.

That plus getting Taylor in ay halfback, and putting a better fit in at sam, and jones turning into a good corner... but yeah it was all hecht.
  21. I would argue that the change at sam had a bigger impact... but the reality is it was everyone finding a role that fit.
  22. And he knew they was gonna kick their ass too.
  23. Some people just have Trudeau derangement syndrome. They were the never Trudeau's and will always find flaw in what he does. Now me I think the guy is an idiot and unqualified to be the PM... but I ain't gonna criticize him for shopping local. Hell I can even go so far as to say he's doing the right thing there. Wish more people were objective instead of having the us vs. Them mentality
  24. So you have to be a superstar to be successful? That means there are very few successful athletes out there...
