    Pffft bunch of TCF
  2. Gen-X really got the short end of the stick. Boomers controlled everything and you guys missed your chance to be the ones in charge.

And to think they only gave out the pittance they are because shocker, letting people go hungry is bad for their senate races. These people are so out-of touch it blows the mind.

Wasn't just the D in that game either. The O in the 2nd half steam rolled the stamps D, something that had been a challenge for this team for a while.

Unless you go 18-0 you can always do better. Your definitions seem arbitrary, and goes to show what we have all known for a long long time: you are more critical of the Bombers than you are any other team.
  6. Unfortunately with each state running their own elections i am note sure how they can coordinate that. It is completely dumb though that the government doesn't change after an election.

It's always money with Trump. He probably owes **** loads to Russians and is playing ball to keep the gravy train rolling.

Guess it's a bad thing to have a proactive gm making moves to shore up depth. That's why they were better than average. Because Kyle walters puts in the work to make sure we have depth.

I take issue with the average except for a great playoff run assessment. I say good start, good finish and little hiccup in the middle. So what do you choose to go with? The few games they were ho-hum or the bulk of the season where they were one of the best teams? It is hard to compare western teams to Eastern teams because of the difference in quality between divisions.

I would argue that the Bombers had a slump during the season and were pretty damned good other than that.

  12. God I want to see it....

Pro-life sounds so much nicer than "keeping women in their place"
  14. And the ever popular "it's my opinion, I am entitled to it!"
  15. Terrifying stuff... proof doesn't matter. Yikes.
  16. I would love to see the democrats turn the tables and demand audits of races Republicans won. Watch the GOP put the brakes on this right quick cause you know there are going to be irregularities found if you start to look closely at some of these areas.
  17. Social media plays a big role in people turning out this way. Years ago the people with these lunatic ideas were publicly shunned and they had to keep the stupid to themselves but now you can find people online to agree with any position so they start to be open about it.

**** that guy. Made a huge stink about a joke pete Davidson made on Saturday night live and forced an apology for nothing! The joke wasn't about the guy losing his eye, it was about pete Davidson being ignorant of politics. Truly conservatives have no sense of humor.

And they all act like ignorant malevolent bastards so why not both?
  20. 17to85 replied to Rich's post in a topic in General Discussion
    Why not both?

I say again, overly much is made of the difference in skills. Yes sports constantly evolve and yes players overall fitness is improving (mostly. It is well documented that Charles roberts didn't put in any work to be at his best and he still did OK against all these players training hard) Particularly in a team setting these differences are not as massive as they are being portrayed. At a position like qb I don't think there is some magic that has been worked on the athletes. Coaches have simply worked harder to make them look better. The position has become a lot more scripted. In the past there was a lot more flying by the seat of your pants.
  22. What on earth do some of these churches teach that people think Jesus would be a fan of Trump and Republicans in general? Like have they ever actually read a Bible?

Take my like and get out.

The best counter argument to this "old guys would suck in a modern age" nonsense is hockey because you have some guys who played many many years. Gretzky and lemieux played in the dead puck era as old broken down men... Gretzky in New York with a half crippled back was still putting up 90 points. Lemieux check back from cancer and ripped the league a new *******. Talent is talent regardless of the era. Sure overall depth has improved, but the beat players are still the best players.

Peterman is stuck behind some really good Canadian receivers. He could be a damned good one, but so can Demski and Wolitarsky.
