LOLks @ Back 2 Back Champs: Week Of Thread
- Canadian Politics
Disgusting that cons in this country are full on just using buzz words that mean nothing like woke rather than presenting legitimate criticisms of things and proposing a better way to do things. I know it's been trending this way for a long long time but I am just so tired of this kind of politics. Why can't all these assholes getting paid well off our tax money actually work together for the betterment of everyone as a whole?- LOLks @ Back 2 Back Champs: Week Of Thread
Just Chris Jones things.- 2022 CFL Season - Back 2 Back Champs News
If Wilson and Houston come back we're set and my anxiety about the D goes way way down. Last 2 games they were hanging on by a thread.- LOLks @ Back 2 Back Champs: Week Of Thread
If I were a betting man I'd say no, but week after I would bet. Give the rookies more work against Edmonton.- 2022 CFL Season - Back 2 Back Champs News
Yeah at 34 with an Achilles injury I'd be shocked if he is back period.- 2001 Bombers vs 2022 Bombers
Nah **** it, everyone had no problem punching down on the Bombers, I still got a whole pile of **** yous to give out.- 2022 CFL Season - Back 2 Back Champs News
Yeah I'm not trying to blame one or the other, but the combo of 2 rookies is just painful. Unless they're Alford and Nichols it's too much to ask.- Alden Darby
Well this is the first I've heard!- LOLks @ Back 2 Back Champs: Week Of Thread
I know you don't like him but to me Parker seems to be picked on more than Holm. Bottom line both on the same side is trouble.- 2022 CFL Season - Back 2 Back Champs News
Dane Evans absolutely raped them and if faj was any kind of qb he could have done it too. That side of the secondary with Parker and Holm is an absolute sore spot and needed help in the worst way. Teams are just absolutely going after Parker especially.- Future Ring of Honour Members (Thanks for the idea, DT)
I mean we really want to pile on it was Roberts who fumbled which led to Glenn trying to grab the ball and having the toronto dipshit LB land on his arm.- 2001 Bombers vs 2022 Bombers
it sure was. All god damned day the rider fans were the mouthiest most annoying garbage you've ever experienced and then the obnoxiousness reached new levels after that kick was missed... except you could clearly see the flag was thrown and that it was against the riders. Once they announced the penalty you could literally hear the deflation among their fans and they got real quite. It was glorious. until being there for the 2019 Grey Cup it was maybe the best football experience I've been to.- Hillbillies vs Back to Back Champs GDT
Notice how he needs someone else to help him lift that up?- Hillbillies vs Back to Back Champs GDT
Matt Nichols had his best years here.... no ****! He was always hurt in edmonton and winnipeg was the only place he got to play. Nichols came in and played great and gradually got worse the longer he stayed to the point where he got his shoulder crippled. (Hey khari got his shoulder crippled too, go Lapo!)- Hillbillies vs Back to Back Champs GDT
Hey I'll get along great when everyone else stops being wrong all the damned time.- Hillbillies vs Back to Back Champs GDT
You just don't pay attention though... I give lapo his credit for generally being a smart guy who does have a decent playbook. I just trash the **** out-of him (deservedly so) for his arrogance, outsmarted himself, passive play calling, and horrible in game awareness. Essentially if you just le him draw up plays he might be ok but calling a game? Terrible. Also really going to disagree that he changed the offense to suit strevers strengths. He made streveler one dimensional. Guy who came in as a rookie and could pass suddenly can't because of the changes to the offense? Lapo likes his gimmicks.- Hillbillies vs Back to Back Champs GDT
Will never understand why Paul Lapolice has so many apologists... Man has the same problems follow him around everywhere he goes but remains blameless in some people's eyes.- 2022 CFL Season - Back 2 Back Champs News
- 2001 Bombers vs 2022 Bombers
Has to be one of the all time most naturally gifted athletes going right? To be that good without putting in the work is astounding.- Future Ring of Honour Members (Thanks for the idea, DT)
01 I don't hold against Roberts, the one that bugs me is 2007. In a game you know you need to lean on a guy like him with a rookie qb getting his first start there's no excuses to show up in the alleged condition he did.- 2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News
Didn't he steal a team mates wallet or something earning the nickname kenton thief? Seems to me he is a guy with a well earned poor reputation who refuses to acknowledge his fault. In summary **** that guy for being a rider.- Future Ring of Honour Members (Thanks for the idea, DT)
based purely on his on field work 100%. Guy is a legend not only for the bombers but league wide. Just a shame that his lack of professionalism sour people's memory of the guy.- 2001 Bombers vs 2022 Bombers
to be fair we were cherry picking what we watched... I don't think it's a case of athletes being so much different, just a change in how guys are used and what type of player is being used at what positions. from 2001 through to now you've basically seen a dramatic evolution in what passes for a linebacker in the CFL. early 2000s was 3 pretty traditional linebackers which became one linebacker being pretty purely a DB position to the point now where your other outside linebacker better be pretty damned good in coverage and your middle linebacker needs the versatility as well to be all over the field. I don't think there's a huge transformation in athletes from then to now, more just improvements in the ability to keep players healthy and recover better from injuries.- 2001 Bombers vs 2022 Bombers
you don't think you could drop 2001 era Doug Brown into todays game and have him still be a top player? The biggest difference on the defensive lines right now IMO is that everyone uses heavy rotations to keep players fresh moreso than a dramatic change. - Canadian Politics
