  1. Yes generally the weekend falls between Thursday and Monday
  2. Wonder what changed prior to last season...
  3. Their record and team isn't even THAT embarrassing. The only reason they think this is the worst team ever is because of all the hype they gave them going into the year.not like they went 2-8 to start the year either si hardly a fair statement at all. Given how the stands look since their soft assed summer schedule I think this is typical rider fans bs.
  4. Agreed, peak Pierce was better. But the injuries put Glenn above imo.
  5. No i agree, lots of bandwagon fans out there. And I look down on all fair weather fans.
  6. Mcadoo built an offense to hide his weaknesses ad much as he could and riderfans had no stomach for it because it was boring.
  7. Rider fans everyone.... I have seen some **** as a Bomber fan, and I watched every god damned minute of it.
  8. Glenn was still the best a bomber qb until collaros showed up probably though so damn rights I can question Kelly's handling of that situation. You got a guy can play at a decent level even with his flaws and you just dump him and roll the dice on unknowns... that's the kind of egotistical move that gets coaches and gms fired and puts teams into a hole it takes years to get out of.
  9. How was that game in calgary last year not just glorified preseason? Collaros got less than a half, dru brown played most of it, the big calgary comeback happened when the defense was basically all the backups... I agree that I don't like the idea of resting guys and all that, play to win every game, but obviously our coaches don't see it the same way.
  10. But they also rested and coasted last season and it worked out.
  11. The ultimate "this guy is a ****" moment was his hissy fit after Bob Irving was rightly calling it a steaming pile on air while Kelly was waiting for his interview to start.
  12. Sure they can. Platforms go out the window the second an election ends anyway. That's the way the system works. The person you elect to represent you and your area can vote however they feel on whatever legislation is put forward. Anyone who voted ucp and is now leery about Danielle Smith being leader has absolute nothing to say. Was clear as day when that party formed that it was PC greed and wild rose ideology coming together. UCP voters are getting what they supported. See if the moderates learned their lesson or not.
  13. But the party can push through whatever they want because all those MLAs were elected. People have to start paying attention and stop pretending they elect a leader. Voting matters so pay attention to who and what you are voting for people. Anyone who values healthcare and votes for the UCP clearly has no idea what they are talking about.
  14. Again, it's Edmonton in a game that really means nothing. If they are feeling Rutledge needs a bit of a mental break this is the game to do it. I'm just having fun, I didn't expect Darby to play this week. Really though I don't think they view first in the West as coming down to anything other than beating BC to secure it. They clearly don't give too many fucks about this game.
  15. If it was anyone but Edmonton bet he would have got in, but in a largely meaningless game against a qb like corny why not let the rooks get some more live fire action? Doesn't hurt anything.
  16. Stefan Lefors was the saviour at QB. I rest my case your honour.
  17. if sayles and jeffcoat are doubtful who the **** is going to play DL...
  18. what a choice that is...

At least President Camacho recognized that he needed to listen to the smartest man in the world for help.
  20. More along the lines of guys with proven track records are less of a concern when mistakes happen because they've shown it's not a recurring thing.
  21. he looks slow since coming back, suspect that he is still playinghurt.

but he seemed like such a trustworthy guy...
  23. Everyone focuses on the move of Alexander to safety in 2019 for really solidifying the secondary but Taylor coming in was a huge part of that as well. good solid presence in the secondary and we do sorely miss it right now.
  24. Worth keeping in mind that Neufeld was an absolute bandaid of a player when he was in Saskatchewan.
  25. Selling the farm for a playoff run in the CFL is always risky business. In the NHL you get best of 7 series but for a lose and you're out scenario absolutely nothing is guaranteed and giving away a pile of assets for maybe a couple games of a player can be reckless. This team, knowing that they have proven the ability to rise to the occasion and know how to win and win when it matters... I'd be more inclined to trust the people in place. It's different when you're massacred by injuries like we are in the secondary right now, but if they were really unhappy with the defensive tackles I gotta think they would have made a move there a lot sooner in the season even if it was just PR bodies.
