Yeah the Alberta liberal party is an empty husk. The Alberta Party has more claim to being the 3rd party than the liberals at this point but even they are struggling to find their place. The wildrose take over of the PCs caused a big shift in the political landscape in Alberta and the remaining parties are still trying to sort themselves out. There are a lot of politically homeless people out here.

The vast majority may be in favour of these things.... but the conservative party is not. The fringe is at the wheel of that party which is why most sane people who don't vote based on party colour don't like what they are doing. Trudeau is a dunce and should be a slam Dunk win for a capable alternative... but here we are. I choose for vote for the idiot who is mostly harmless vs. The outrage party with no plans other than lower taxes!

But being interm coach of a team that was bad enough to fire their coach.... what do we really expect out of guys in that situation?

Not one of those parties you listed can field a full slate of candidates across the country and some of them are only provincial parties.... Really if you merge the libs and ndp you create a 2 horse race same as the US. Which is not what we should be striving for. Real choice, not irrelevant phony choice. It keeps everyone from straying too far.

Everything they are focusing on are things no one is asking for. No one wants a provincial police force, no one wants the albertan sovereignty act, no one wants an alberta pension plan, no one wants more private health care. Based on that game collaros was just as likely to throw the int there too. He threw several passes right at defenders that were far worse reads than the one prukop made. Collaros was the MOP, but he was hot garbage in the Grey Cup.
