  1. Kelly had the best pass protection in the league by a long shot, a good to great running game, and the best field position in the league. Good season for a young-ish QB, not outstanding at all. Oliviera is a do everything back who had an all-time season on the best team in the league. Got it done with both QB's, against every opponent in the league. Going to look extra stupid after Kelly's playoff woes.
  2. Demski was talking like he wasn't sure he'd play in the media stuff.
  3. I agree with this. Our D flied around a bit more without him. Feel like he's a guy out there everyone kind of waits on to make a play, play a bit more free without him.
  4. Honestly wouldn't even concern myself with it. Great, convert one second and long.
  5. Heartily disagree with this. Lost 2018 WF in a game where the D was dominant and if offense could put together one drive we would have been in that Grey Cup. 2016 big first half, couldn't put together a couple drives in 2nd half to ice it. 2017, got hammered by Edmonton, put up some nice stats after beatdown.
  6. The suggestion that the Bombers can't do anything until the extensions are done is ludicrous. The management staff are Bombers employees until their deals are up. They are still working.
  7. I don't think Oakman will get much from Argos. Not sure there will be much of a market either. He's been more disappointing than anything. Wouldn't be surprised if he's an XFL player. McManis is one of the best players in the league.
  8. They were teammates in 2022. Shaq Richardson was the guy on the Argos in that altercation.
  9. A few rumours now that Dinwiddie might get a call from Boise State depending on who they hire since they just canned their head coach. With Boise going to some agglomeration of the PAC-12 and Mountain West soon he'd probably get paid more there to be OC or QB coach than he would to be a head coach in CFL. Don't think he'd be a candidate to be the head coach.
  10. Clements looks a lot more comfortable in the middle than he did at WIL. I'd say if your LB crew was Wilson, Cole, Clements in those two spots you'd be in pretty good shape. Yeah they planned for Parker to smack the ball right to McInnis.😂
  11. The big thing is with the way D's are collapsing on Oliviera, Zach has to call back to his Cincinnati and early pro days with some zone reads, pull the ball out and take the free first down, obviously don't be overly risky on taking hits. You send everyone vertical and run a Zone Read to Brady...easy yards. Then you have those boot passes they always run, those are a little more dangerous vs Montreal with the zone blitz stuff. To me this is a game where it's really run and vertical passing for the offense, depending on conditions, you saw in the WF that neither team could really consistently pass because of how difficult it was to grip the ball in that damp cold right around the freezing mark. If you need to grind out points that's fine because Montreal's O has no chance of getting them a big lead, but their D can.
  12. Toronto basically played a meaningless half season. Pretty exceptional case.
  13. Flavourless fatty gristle? As a metaphor for Fajardo's CFL career yes.
  14. It's embarrassing. If that group wants to progress they need to have some actual standards on reporting and not just resort to fan blog drivel. The Bombers literally pounded the Lions into the turf from the opening kick to the final whistle. Both of their lines got absolutely ******* collapsed. They had to pop 9 guys inside to stop the run, and yeah Collaros didn't hit a deep on them so they can get a banner printed that says that I guess. West Finalists. BC couldn't even get closer than kicks from 40+ or a hail mary for the entire game. They sure looked affected by playing outdoors in November, can't really deny that.
  15. I'm really hoping they add Garbutt or Haba in place of Bighill. Maas will never stick with the run so having Jeffcoat out there 2/3 to 3/4 of the snaps as fresh as he can be and the young rushers teeing off when he's not out there would be pretty impactful. Keep running that look with 3 WIL/MLB type guys out there, 6 DB's almost every down unless it's like 2nd and 15, Walker out there 3/4 of the time with Lawson in for the rest. Let Hansen focus on special teams and you have him if you need him. Cover teams will be huge though so save up that energy. I guess see where the receivers are but might be a good idea to pop McCrae off and add Rose whether he plays corner or maybe his role in this game is to dominate on kick cover.
  16. He put the ball right into McManis' hands a couple times when McManis started up on the line and dropped out, one of them for sure would have been a pick six right after Montreal picked one off that led directly to a FG. I was waiting for Fajardo to get the Argos back into that one. At a certain point I couldn't believe Montreal kept letting him pass the ball when they were in FG range.
  17. Honestly don't care much about eating if the Bombers are in the game. If we lost that West Final I'd probably be eating ribs and watching NFL games.
  18. Really liked that 3-3 front with Kramdi and Alexander kind of playing more like US style safeties. Really hard to figure where rush is coming from and really easy to disguise coverages in that look. Really makes it impossible for QB to read much pre-snap. Which is ideal against guys like Adams and Fajardo. Also good at spying/containing scrambling QB.
  19. You can see the deficiencies in how teams attack us. When they started a drive with Hansen at end and Jeffcoat on the sideline they went no huddle so we couldn’t sub Jeffcoat back in.
  20. And how they gave up the lead by not being able to avoid giving up 15 ypc on Bombers first drive and never saw the lead again. Lions are basically where we were in 2018. Need some changes to get over the hump and QB big part of it.
  21. Montreal making the Cup has also just mind ****** Rider fans who now think somehow their season would have turned out differently with Maas and Fajardo. Really couldn’t have been a better result for my viewing pleasure. But...you don’t want to be the footnote in history with the picture of Fajardo standing there holding a Grey Cup. I can’t believe the line is only 6.5, but still need to take this seriously.
  22. The whole article basically explains how so many BC guys didn’t show, got injured, VA wouldn’t scramble and looked out of sorts. But no chance the weather had anything to do with it?
  23. Can we hear more about VA’s “career defining performance” against a 6 win team at home in a dome in a division semi?

How did Chad Kelly’s left eye get stuck higher than his right eye after the first pick six? Having TSN constantly panning to his face was so uncomfortable m.
