Hamilton @ Toronto Oct. 10
HUGE PLAY .... and there's still time for Hamilton to come back. Lovin' it. Strange that a game with so many penalties is as entertaining as this.

A great finish brewing here. This has been one of the best games this season. Glad to see Collaros and Ray putting up some good numbers.

That pick-6 drop will be your TSN Turning Point.

Lawless: Bombers need to sign Ben Heenan
I think the more realistic situation is the Riders dump Picard to afford Heenan. Then we can pick up Picard and Tim O'neill and continue on with a terrible OL. It's the Bomber way. This theory has merit. With younger and cheaper replacements at center in Clack and Watman, Picard could be a guy that gets moved. As far as Heenan, I'd fall off my chair if he doesn't sign here. Where does Picard play? The one thing we don't need is another centre.

Sweet zombie Jesus this is way beyond stupid. If someone wants to go to free agency, you can't stop them. That's why they call it free agency.

Time To Make Carl Volny The Number 1 RB And Use Stoudemire On End Arounds
I think Grigsby has been finding and hitting the gap faster in recent weeks, but he's still got big trouble fighting through contact. I hate seeing a feature back go down due to a forearm-on-ankle tackle.

Interesting Quote in Pentons weekly CFL Blitz
Only way I want to move on from Marcel is if someone who is a no-brainer upgrade like Cortez comes along.

I saw that Mastodon / Opeth show. Went mainly for Mastodon, I own a couple Opeth albums but wouldn't call myself a fan. Mastodon was good as always, but Opeth blew me away. They were touring their super mellow Heritage album so I was expecting a lot of people in the crowd to be yelling at them to play their older, heavy ****. But the dude had the crowd spellbound with the beautiful and haunting new material, cranking up the tension and expectation ... and then, towards the end of the show when he did get around to playing some old favorites, the place went absolutely bananas. One of the best metal shows I've ever seen. Hell, one of the best shows period. Still not a fan of Opeth's recordings, for some reason they don't satisfy, but I'd definitely go see them live again.

What games are you looking foward to? Asking because I haven't yet seen any compelling reasons to upgrade to a next generation console. Seems like the games just aren't there yet, it's just more of the same, albeit prettier.

Time for some tough love on....
Our team is simply not good enough to give away ten points on special teams mistakes and still win. (edit: ten points and a "turnover" on that roughing the kicker call)

Who plays video games? What are you playing? I just got a PS3 and am working through all the best games from that console. Have played through God of War 3 (incredible), Killzone 3 (just another shooter, albeit a pretty one), and am just starting the Uncharted series. My absolute favourite thing of the last console generation was the Mass Effect series. Have played the whole series through twice, will probably play it again soon. Don't play online much, I'm mostly a single-player game guy.

Depth Chart - HAM @ WPG - Sept 27th
No Moore, no Wild. Not feeling good because I don't think we're a deep enough team to get by without those guys. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst today.

Chad Kackert signs with Argos
Here's a guy who was fun to watch when he wasn't playing the Bombers. Good to see him back in the league, hope he's put his injury problems behind him.

FNF - Montreal @ Ottawa / Sask. @ Edmonton
Dumb fans in Ottawa, getting super loud during their team's biggest offensive play of the game. Savvy! Climie raging at the Ottawa offence! Matty calling out Henry Burris! The FNF panel is getting feisty.

The CFL Gamecast says that Joey Elliott was targeted on a pass near the end of the 1st quarter -- is that for real? Are the RBs so hard-up for receivers that Elliott is out there running routes? USA's head would've exploded if that pass had connected for a touchdown.

A Healthy Renaud - Does He Get Back In?
Their gross averages aren't nearly as important as their net averages. If Renaud places the ball better, coverage teams will be more effective and his net average may very well be longer.
