I still remember Henoc's first season. He had a lot of pulls and strains to start the year too, in fact I think he missed the first game or two with injuries. No point working the rookies right into the ground. No point having them miss half the season because they were forced to the limit in camp.

This is why I could never live in the Maritimes. It would drive me insane not being able to watch a lot of the games because of the late start times. BC time zone rules. 4:00 pm and the beer starts flowing as the puck drops on games from out East. Can't beat that.

I was a fan back in the old AWA days with Vern Gagne and Mad Dog Vachon. And then the High Flyers with Jim Brunzell and Greg Gagne. I liked the interviews that the wrestlers did with Mean Gene Okerlund (Jesse Ventura was awesome at it) but when they got in the ring, they wrestled. Now if you watch the WWE Vince McMahon has ruined it with all of this nonsense where the wrestlers come in the ring and yak on microphones for seemingly forever, instead of just wrestling. It wasn't about the drama, it was about the wrestling. Usually someone would get hit with a foreign object or a chair in those days. And we loved it!
