That's a slippery slope though because it would then allow the Administration to sue the shit out of the media every time they post blatant lies. Trump gives up enough fodder on a daily basis to report the straight goods, but that hasn't been good enough for some over-zealous Trump-hating reporters out there. Every time someone like Josh Rogin of the Washington Post goes over the line it just legitimizes Trump's claims about fake news, and then he just tars everyone with the same brush. The "real" news gets lost in the shuffle. This may actually be a strategy of the Trump team, but it's a shame that so many in the media are falling into the trap. http://www.dailywire.com/news/13176/list-washington-posts-josh-rogin-has-big-fake-news-john-nolte

yes, like here in BC, where they stupidly put the HST to a referendum (and made it 50.1% needed instead of 66.6%) and we had to go back to the PST after spending billions converting to the HST. What a cluster-freak that was.

I am not sure how Milo's speeches are comparable to someone posting images of the President in a target, but I for one don't really care. If that's how someone wants to express their hate, go for it.

I wouldn't say that it was better than Scott Adams, just a different view. And I don't think they were very fair to Milo either. They are describing him through their personal prism/PC prism. I don't necessarily agree with what he says, but the fact that he is gay really adds a twist. The "progressive" Left really don't know what to do with him as they can't really label him. He's not a white supremacist, even though he gets called that a lot. What I didn't like was how UC Berkeley seemed happy that the event was canceled, and the violence was cheered on by a lot of people who seemed extremely hypocritical in their views, as they support free speech apparently, as long as its speech that they agree with. The thing is, if they just ignored him, Milo would probably fade away. The whole reason he is popular and receives so much attention is the hate and vitriol directed his way, and now the violent attacks by anti-Milo anarchists at his events are just adding to his popularity. He's going to get a lot more famous before he goes away, the way things are going.

yes that Berkeley stuff wasn't cool, and I don't care what you think of Milo, that kind of reaction is never justified. Those people weren't protesters, they were anarchists. Same group that torched a Muslim immigrant's limo at the Inauguration and cost him $70,000. Violence is not the way.

They've been saying that for the 40+ years that I have been following Canadian politics. Seems to work on only the people who weren't going to vote Conservative anyway.- US Politics
I have to admit I don't know much about her, which is why I said I wasn't sure she was the answer. If she is as good as you say I hope she runs for president in 2020 and the American people give her a fair shake. At least she won't have to worry about the Clintons destroying her campaign.- Game 54 : Three for the Road @ Lone Star
Pavelec and Hutch might end up playing Senior A whale s*$% hockey as schmelts next year for the Letterkenny Shamrocks. Leg days with them are a bitch!!- Game 53 : Red River @ Mississippi

You watch too many celebrities (just kidding!). The actual polls when you cut through the noise and the shouting and the protests and the anger, show Trump's ban is popular! http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/316914-poll-over-half-back-trumps-refugee-ban Now I realize that this poll was conducted by a right-wing firm, so its probably not very reliable. Just offering it as a talking point.- Bombers Off-Season Transactions

Corney plays end while Shologan was DT. Jake the Snake and the Butcher can pick up the slack I guess, plus whatever DT Kyle drafts this year. Any good ones available in the first round? I have to admit I haven't checked the latest scouting reports. EDIT: Looks like the second ranked guy on the list is a d-lineman. Not sure if he plays end or DT.- Bombers Off-Season Transactions

Yup, hard to argue that people in favor of the current ban aren't at least somewhat racist, that's for sure. Or just plain not educated as to the world. They really could benefit from leaving their homes in the US and traveling outside the borders. A friend of mine is from the UK and he does business in Texas. When he showed the secretary at an oil company his driver's licence she actually said "The UK? What state is that?" There's people who would be considered bigot and racists in the US, but they don't even know they are bigots and racists, because they can't be bothered to learn why different is a good thing. - Canadian Politics
