I had a Bomber toque growing up, not sure where I got it. I remember buying some Bomber swag after the 1990 Grey Cup win at a store in Portage Place, not sure what it was called.

If the Bombers were able to pry Ward out of Ottawa that would definitely be the final piece of the puzzle. I can't imagine having to cheer for a team with a QB with only 2 games of CFL experience. Hard to believe we weren't much better off than Ottawa only 5 or 6 years ago.

This RedBlacks team makes me pine for the Tim Burke-led 2013 Bombers. Yikes. 5 plays from scrimmage and 3 sacks given up. Now we have to watch Duane Forde eat an entire turkey single-handed while Montreal keeps this beat down going. Lol

I read Teemu's book and he said back in the 1990's on the Jets it was pretty common for some of the guys on the team (not Teemu) to get blotto after games and then drive home. He witnessed one guy (didn't name him) who was hammered and slammed into a light standard. The cops showed up and recognized him as a Jet and got him out of there without charging him, because of course he was with the Jets and the cops didn't want to be blamed for the team losing a player. Teemu couldn't believe it. I don't think that would happen now.

Edmonton should seriously look at dressing three QB's for this game, make one of them play specials. Maybe Bryan Bennett is still out there and can be signed by Friday.
