Chip and Pepper bought the brand and are contracting out the baking. The owner of Upper Crust has been having some health issues and the bakery was closed for a while. It does not have the capacity to produce this volume of commercial goods along with their own.

It's been more than 6 years since I have eaten any of their food but there was a time that a Chicken Kebab and Wedges was lunch once or twice a week at least.

Apparently not for sale in store but in "dining room" and possibly delivery. They have this in some Ontario and Alberta markets. I love being able to walk in to a 7-11 in Texas and there are more fridges of beer, coolers and cocktails than coke and pepsi.

Couldn't find a reference online but heard it reported on the radio this morning that 7-11 on Ness at Sturgeon Rd has applied for a Liquor License to allow them to serve beer and wine in their dining area and with Takeout/delivery. That used to be my local Sev, lots of room to expand the store in the lot and not much around, or is there a plan to take over a vacant spot in the adjacent strip mall and add a separate sit down dining area...

Hard to say if the blame can be put on the team or not. Lawless did the crime and the courts and CBSA work at their speed, not anyone else’s.

Really wish there was an option for both teams to lose. Choosing between the long standing hatred for Sask and the more recent intense hatred of Chris Jones…

Had my first candidate at my door talking about the fall election yesterday, a rather humble affable gentleman. I wished him good luck as despite popular opinion I have some concerns about my neighbours. Hopefully realignment has worked in his favour.

I just don’t understand the fascination with chain restaurants, especially US based ones. I’m not saying I never go but there are so many great local spots in all areas of Winnipeg and the surrounding area.

Until AH retired and is on the ring of honour anyone who wants it can wear that as far as I am concerned. After that, you need to earn it or have his permission.

I would contend that Dalton Schoen is at least a substantial rookie find last year. I do believe he won an award or something… This board this weekend…UGH!!!

I laughed more than I cried which based on what I heard earlier in the day I was a little surprised. One of the reasons I need to watch it again is that I didn't think the loose ends were nicely tied and felt that ones that had been previously tied got untied last night. Is the door open for a return or spin off? Sure feels like it right now.

Watched the final episode of Ted Lasso last night, likely need to watch it again and let it settle in before I really understand how I feel about.

With Lawler added to the roster, did we remove anyone or are there just more guys fighting for the same spots? I thought Bailey was going to be the odd man out but then they did the right thing and re-signed him. So many weapons...
