  1. Just saying... A fact can be anecdotal, and an anecdote can be a fact. Sorry.
  2. If O'Shea left, would you have him?
  3. Perhaps they were anticipating a lot of garbage time next season?
  4. I'd imagine every part of the CFL (with the likely exception of the Riders' fans) will be rooting against us. We were over 21k before the discount. Hopefully it helps us get over 25k. (or even 26,500, which I think is capacity for CFL)
  5. imo, yes. I've watched all of their games (for I his entire tenure, I think), he is not the guy who has his team ready, prepared and gameplanned. And worse, he seems to have regressed as he went along. I cited the Peter Principle because I really see it in this case.
  6. Dunno. Hopefully they can fill what's left on the Upper East. We were over 21k on the weekend before they knew they were coming.
  7. 23,000+ Sold as of Tuesday morning and The Trews playing at Halftime. Forecast is 6 degrees and 30% chance of precip.
  8. Rich Stubler was a top tier DC who failed as a HC and then after a change of scenery had a second act as a very effective DC. Richie Hall was a top tier DC who failed as a HC and then after a change in scenery had a second act as a very effective DC. ORlondo Steinauer was a top tier DC who has failed as a HC... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_principle
  9. Was only there once for -40. Dad often took me there on business and we'd fit in a Jets game. This one particular time we were with an associate from his Nassau office who had never even seen snow before. A cherished hilarious memory of seeing him take off down the street at a Johnsonesque sprint to get back to our hotel. Never implied that Winnipeg doesn't see the nether regions of the thermometer. Just that humid cold hits different.
  10. He is from Buffalo. Long range for the 19th is 10 and rainy. EDIT: for those unaware, Buffalo is on the leeward shore of the lake and has double Winnipeg's annual snowfall and bitter cold humid air.
  11. I'll attest to that. -10 in the Great Lakes is just different than Prairie -10.
  12. Sounds like great football weather.
  13. What's the long range forecast look like for next week?
  14. It's just wrong that this guy will win MODP over a guy who is twice the player.
  15. You guys have got to be enjoying imagining how Rider fans must feel witnessing Cody Fajardo go to the eastern final
  16. Hamilton either takes it back here quickly or this one is done.
  17. Until you block him 😉
  18. Locksley's been really good at short yardage
  19. Tiger cats are coming downhill now
  20. Okay so somebody make the call: Does Hamilton make the quarterback swap? If they do, will it work?
  21. Looked like he was trying to float it on purpose
  22. Credit where it's due. It was a good read by Fajardo. He knew he had man, and he threw it on the inside where Mack would have had had a better shot at it even if he was in tight coverage... Which he was not
