  1. Correct. We were sitting above the Bombers' sideline - Strevy was absolutely livid after the hit.
  2. Must be a shortage of pucks...
  3. As the old adage goes "an idiot is as an idiot does."
  4. It doesn't matter where. The point is, teams see value in him as a coach.
  5. I've never claimed to be an expert, but some of the stuff we keep hearing about Buck here...doesn't compute with him being hired to be a head coach I'm sure the powers that be in BC...were fully aware of what the Bombers' offense was doing/not doing. I don't see why they'd hire a guy who's as bad as some of you keep typing. Just my 0.02
  6. 2 takes: Some of the QB talk brings to mind Ricky Ray having one of his best years, but Edmonton missing the playoffs, 5000 yards, IIRC Also, when you know what an OL is capable of - shouldn't adjustments be made appropriately.
  7. Agreed. To be determined to an extent. But some scouts and the GM are still here.
  8. Every position other than QB gets labelled as that...if you read message boards long enough. I think it comes down to what the scouting dept. is good at finding. In Winnipeg, that's DBs at the moment.
  9. As some have already said, it doesn't matter unless the Elks get a legit QB. The way I look at, they probably don't make the GC with Ford at QB. Then, whoever makes the GC from the West, no longer has that vaunted Argos' DL to contend with.
  10. The thread just got...exciting...
  11. Appreciate the updates guys.
  12. Utah Hockey Wives
  13. If you can have the Utah Jazz, may as well have the Utah Ukeleles.
  14. I agree. It's just that you've done a 180.
  15. Are you feeling allright? Things are good?
  16. Lol, I'll stop now, you win!
  17. With a couple of naysayers arguing for a cheaper American.
  18. 😄 All posters are equal, but some are more equal than others.
  19. Interesting. Pay your QB 600K, then you can win while starting several injured receivers.
  20. Those 2 things are connected.
  21. I never said or implied any of that - that's your hyperbole. I just don't think the CFL can expect any kind of compensation from the NFL - it's not realistic.
  22. I don't have much interest in pro hockey, but last night we took in a junior game (Steelers vs. Terriers) for the first time in many years. Tons of hitting, lots of chippy play, some guys with decent skills. The refs let too much go in the first period then clamped down, which led to players mouthing off - interesting drama. It was a good night. 3-2 Terriers, in OT
  23. I don't know, man. I see where you're coming from and I say this with all due respect. I'd say the NFL to the CFL is like the U.S. is to Canada. They are the big elephant next door, and we can't help but be affected by every twitch and grunt. If the CFL draws a line in the sand, the NFL will be the ocean that washes it away.
  24. I agree. Some QBs are simply downfield guys...Mike Reilly was the same. And Reilly had the same protection issues that ZC has.
