GDT Bombers and Eskies
In garbage time. The entire 2nd half. He still looked good, was throwing the ball quickly and for the most part on target. Willy had a real bad problem with bracing for a hit rather than throwing quickly lately, he's shell shocked, for his own good he needs a break. He's bracing for the hits because he's playing with sprained shoulder.

Realistic Changes for Next Year
I would add Denmark to the safe list.

New coordinators for 2015?
When 8 rushers can't get to the QB...the DC can't possibly look good...

New coordinators for 2015?
C'mon guys, consequences are the problem, they need consequences, there will be consequences

Odds and Sods - Winnipeg Blue Turkeys vs Edmonton Eskimoes
That's cool, you don't have to believe it. He also said he agrees with January, that the protections needs to be better.

Odds and Sods - Winnipeg Blue Turkeys vs Edmonton Eskimoes
Willy said publicly last week that 'he couldn't take anymore hits.' I highly doubt Willy said this. What's your source? He said it 1290 before the Ottawa game...I heard him.

Odds and Sods - Winnipeg Blue Turkeys vs Edmonton Eskimoes
How is it even possible...to blitz for more than half the game and generate hardly any pressure? The front 7 and OL looked dead out there today. Props to the secondary for giving a good effort.

Realistic Changes for Next Year
Who is? Most of what I read is posters saying our depth needs to improve.

Kelly benched instead of Romby
The jet package vs. the Etcheverry D, that image is good for a chuckle or two

Hamilton @ Toronto Oct. 10
A point about penalties: the last PI call in the BC vs. Ottawa game. At that point the game was out of reach, it wasn't exactly a catchable ball, and all the call did was turn the game into an even bigger rout for BC.

Argos seems to be peaking at the right time

Grigsby not getting first team practice reps - Cotton to start VS Edmonton
So...it sounds like moving away from 5 day trials was fairly logical

Kelly benched instead of Romby
If in the past year you haven't changed or slightly revised an opinion...check your pulse...you may be dead

Kelly benched instead of Romby
The crossing routes are a good point. Bryant was effective on a couple of those in Hamilton game. I hope a few more are in the works to slow down the blitz.

Winnipeg Mayoral Election
There was a recession...the feds chose to run a deficit and keep transfer payments intact. What happened in the 90's wasn't really a recession, it was Paul Martin balancing the federal budget on the backs of the provinces.

Winnipeg Mayoral Election
Just some facts: Since 2005-2006, federal transfer payments to Manitoba have increased by 641 million. http://www.fin.gc.ca/fedprov/mtp-eng.asp#Manitoba Going back to 1999, it's about a billion. As a percentage of overall government revenue they have dropped from over 40% to less than 30%. This is consistent with what is happening across the country.

Winnipeg Mayoral Election
Not a bad article, except for Broadbeck's need to add a little more of his own spin. The MB. PST is pretty consistent with PST rates across the country. If you look at the big picture, governments of all political stripes raise taxes. Mulroney called Harper's GST cut "good politics but bad policy."

I've done that...it isn't funny...

Suber traded to Toronto
He's afraid to practice against our OL...yep that'd do it...

Realistic Changes for Next Year
There were games they could easily have lost early in the season...there have also been games they could've won in the last few weeks.

Kerry Joseph Joins Riders
I'm left shaking my head...the more things change...the more they stay the same.

Realistic Changes for Next Year
They fielded a better starting 24...that's progress. When injuries began to happen, it became clear that depth was inadequate...progress still to be made.

Realistic Changes for Next Year
As Dave Ritchie put it: 'we won three more games, that's improvement."

Injury Report (Week 16)
The difference Wild will make cannot be overstated.
