  1. Speaking of history, the Beringia arrival has now been debunked: http://indiancountrytodaymedianetwork.com/2016/08/12/death-bering-strait-theory-165452
  2. Yes, it popped loose after he had taken a step
  3. When they drop 9 into coverage the onus is on the secondary
  4. For most games during the streak, we did have a good first quarter.
  5. Crap like this from over-paid athletes is why the CFL is the only pro-league I still pay attention to.
  6. Noeller and iso actually agree on something - what are you guys drinking this weekend?
  7. Not if it takes them an entire half to adjust the coverage - he won't
  8. I noticed that too - he was hardly ever forced to throw to his check down.
  9. JBR - did the protection scheme look similar to what Trestman used to run with Calvillo?
  10. NFL rule: any player may advance and/or recover the ball after a fumble http://www.nfl.com/rulebook/fumble
  11. Adams touching the ball is what allowed the Calgary player to recover it.
  12. It may be that - you never can tell with trash talk
  13. I still remember your comments from yesterday. It's safe to say that Calgary did make some adjustments for Winnipeg. They came out mostly throwing in the first half - Messam was not a major factor. It was clear they had prepared for certain tendencies in the Bombers' secondary.
  14. Simple but accurate assessment of all the teams.
  15. Mark H. replied to Zontar's post in a topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Our two wins against the Riders are looking better every week.
  16. There's some truth to that - almost cost Calgary a win
  17. Moe Leggett is ready and waiting
  18. Book it
  19. Did some digging - No yards does not apply on a dribbled ball. They made the correct call. https://cfldb.ca/rulebook/kicking/kick-from-scrimmage-and-open-field-kick/
  20. Best post of the day - the problems we saw today can be fixed - this is a win against any other team
  21. Same D we've seen all year. They give up a ton of yardage but get turnovers - I was impressed that they almost won a game where they generated just one turnover (should have been two)
  22. Hmmm getting a tad interesting...
  23. Not a theory at all, that's the rule for a dribbled ball, which is what the call was. You have to be onside in order to recover a dribbled ball, which was negated when Adams touched it
  24. If he hadn't touched it, it would have been no yards. The players who recovers for the 'dribbling team' has to be onside.
