I said all that too. Sometimes hustle is just running around. It is what it is. We have our stars on D at other positions, while for most teams the MLB is the heart of the D. And I would encourage you to watch that play again - cfl.ca has it in the game recap.

I remember him catching a TD pass a few years ago.

A few things: 1. That has to be one of the worst performances by an OL in recent memory. 2. Collaros is similar to Reilly in that he ad - libs plays when he rolls out. He did a lot of that against the Esks but the Bombers controlled him quite well. 3. Hurl is usually where he's supposed to be - but does not seem to make many plays. Eg. The play where Heath's tackle was broken and other guys missed, Hurl followed the receiver all the way to end zone - outstanding.

Probably a PI call if he doesn't catch that. Which could have given all the locked out minions another Harris attempt...

Fair enough - but I still don't think a practice roster salary should be expected to translate into any kind of loyalty from the players.

That's why I compared to farmers, they usually provide room & board. Without the perks, no one would stay on the practice roster.

That's 18.75 an hour, only 6 to 7 bucks above minimum wage, it's peanuts. Most farmers have seasonal jobs available and they have to pay more than this plus room & board if they want to hire anyone (Just giving a comparison to other seasonal work).

I thought so too - Hurl's stats show 12 starts with less than a dozen defensive tackles - clearly spot duty.
