Barrington Wade is one name off our neg list I’m very happy to see us sign I didn’t say I would cut Rose. I said I wonder if they’ll consider getting younger. Darby is an option too. They’ve always got huge competition in camp for DBs, so you never know.

DB doesn’t worry me at all - I am wondering if we get a bit younger there this year though.

Very curious to see Joe Beckett, OB Goodson, Jadrian Taylor and a few other rookies

It’s really all about team fit too. That gets talked about nowhere near enough as it relates to the CFL Draft.

John Hodge’s pick analysis is incredible on 3DN Bull was their 9th ranked prospect, picked 1st overall. Hodge Verdict? “I like this pick” Brodrique ranked 13th by 3DN, picked 2nd. Hodge Verdict? “Makes sense for Edmonton” Korte-Moore ranked 11th by 3DN, picked 3rd. Hodge Verdict? “Good use of resources” laughable

😂 touch grass There’s nothing wrong with saying this is a poor draft class. So many factors and circumstances, not the least of which is that the Canadian talent is getting better and better so the NFL is taking the best. We’re largely being left this year with undersized players, average-ish NCAA talent that turned out to be Canadian on a technicality and project players. Not to say that nothing can be made of this class of picks, but it lacks the top end talent we’ve seen in past drafts.

Why is it being a Debbie downer to say this is a poor draft class? It is. It’s a step below the usual tier for the reasons JBR stated. Are there players that can help us? Sure. But I don’t see many starters in this draft unless it’s after 2-3 years of development.

You love to make every move the Bombers make sound amazing, don’t you? Lol This is legitimately a nothing transaction. I would be shocked if this guy even came to camp. This draft has basically become a giant waste of time, you can tell how seriously teams take it given that it took less than 20 minutes from start to finish for 18 picks. There was one guy in this talent pool who has a legitimate chance and legitimate interest in the CFL and he went first overall.

And in case you’re wondering how seriously the CFL teams take the draft, the guy we took in the second round is 35 Not even the oldest guy in the draft though … Elks took a 36 year old kicker 2nd overall

I never said there aren’t quality players. Of course there are quality players. Overall, it’s a very weak draft class.

This isn’t really a hot take but this draft is terrible I have the lowest of expectations for anybody making an impact on our roster

I’ll join in: I’m looking for a Khari/Milt/Charlie era Bomber jersey … need that lightning bolt W, would prefer a game worn but I’m open to whatever is floating around. Doesn’t need to be a particular player.

O’Shea Jr was a guy I thought was really going to be a player a couple years ago but seems like he may have peaked and his pro potential seems slim at best. I would be happy to see us sign him as a UDFA or something, but I hope for both SR and JR that we don’t invest a draft pick - not fair to either one.

And for the record, I don’t pay attention to the draft much anymore, but when I did, I would notice many of the mocks shared by posters here (mine included) were miles better than any of the ones the talking heads would come up with.

I swear Marshall Ferguson is the most useless CFL analyst out there. Nothing he says ever makes any sense and it reeks of a guy who has the connections to get places but no ability to do anything with what he’s seeing. Cole Tucker and Jake Maier working underneath to imitate Collaros and Schoen? Schoen led the entire league in yards per catch because he was blowing the top off the D, not working underneath in the soft spots. Michael Brodrique to Montreal, he’s French! BC traded a number 1 overall pick LB for a 9th overall pick to draft … a LB! David Dallaire to be FB4 for Montreal in the second round, he’s French!
