Nope I disagree. A big part of the appeal is the Canadian players. Not just because I am Canadian and patriotic but because of the added roster intrigue. How do you juggle the roster in order to field the best possible lineup? How often have we all had that discussion? Remove the Canadians and it just becomes the B-League to the NFL, for what would really amount to a very slight improvement in the skill level. Absolutely agree. The thing that separates the good teams from the bad in this league are the Canadians .. and it's not just the ratio breakers but the lunch pail guys and how they are used to build your roster. It doesn't always have to be about the line .. you see successful teams building their rosters with NIs at skilled positions .. and we have, over the years, drafted guys at RB .. WR .. etc .. our problem is that we've never effectively used any of those guys .. or, in the case of our last two WR prospects, became more enamored with potential and athleticism as opposed to that person's ability to make an impact.

They can't get replays right at the best of time .. the last thing I want is MORE opportunity to go to replay .. game flow right now sucks enough as it is.

Wonder if any of those people ragging on O'Shea for not "making sure the players were lined up properly" are prepared to issue statements of their own. Heh.

And we'd prefer not to see a video review of this particular play.

Play calling, per usual, went really conservative out of the gate after the half. Double tight. Middle run. Short gain. Results in a quick two and out and we never found a rythmn on offence until we were in the hurry up .. with 1:50 left in the game .. where the OC isn't necessarily in the equation ..

Have to echo what other's have said regarding apathy .. I'm going to the game tonight .. taking my daughter (wife wants no part of the game) .. but I'm not gung ho about it .. honestly, even this past Sunday .. I was more interested in NFL football as opposed to a dreary CFL broadcast (especially given that we were being thumped).

I don't mind the gold jersey's to be honest .. they are simple and understated .. rather dig the kit myself ..

Yes .. let's turn our noses up at the chance to land an impact non-import player .. a guy who would start whether he was Canadian or not .. clearly our glut of talent precludes our interest.

It's been his (and his agent's) priority since the day he turned pro .. it's why there was some drama getting him signed initially as well .. they are going to exhaust their opportunities down south .. and they will take their time doing so.

I taught a few people here...not sure if he was one of them. On behalf of those that teach...we apologize for helping him out. He did after all look like a lame lobotomized dog at the time, so we were just trying to give him a boost. So, it was YOU!!!!! He's a **** disturber iso .. Actually, going into the game Willy got hurt .. we were in first place .. Weren't we 3-4 or 3-5 when Willy got hurt? 3-3 going into the game. So 2nd place, I believe. That sounds more like it. Thought we were 3-2 and tied for first at that point ..my mistake .. point remains .. we are / were still competitive league wide with Willy behind centre.

No. But given that Wild can long snap .. it also raises the question of whether or not we need to roster both Cronk and Rempel on game day .. and frankly, I'd have no issues dropping Cronk from the game day roster ..

Started off the the Bomber game myself .. but .. having Sunday ticket .. the decision to stop flipping between TSN and ANY other football game was easily made before the half.

Played for the Regina Rams due, in part, to recruiting violations at LSU and being unable to transfer to another program. Really quirky situation. I think the Argos had an offer out to him at one point during that span too ..

And even Harris is the "back up" in TO ..

Bad year for QBs in the CFL .. really hurts our game and selling the league as a whole.
