Making slow progress. It so far only goes from downtown to U of M. It isn't rail like the C-Train, it is normal busses. There are some dedicated stretches where the road is busses only but not a continuous reserved roadway throughout. It is at least reserving space and putting in the beginnings of the infrastructure where rail could eventually go. With the deficit the city is currently in, unless something drastically changes, I still think actual rapid transit is 20 years out. It isn't at all a priority right now. That U of M track has been scaled back a few times now.- The Walking Dead *spoilers*
I don't think he was killed just to be shocking .... how they did it was meant to be shocking. And I know they don't always follow the comics to the tee, but IMO killing Glenn was more about being true to the original story from the comics. The show is also in its 7th season. How much longer are the actors who've been there since season 1 going to want to keep doing it? With the world they live in, not everyone should survive. And if the core of the cast always lived, the show would lose something IMO.- Week 19 Pick 'Ems

Finally? People have been saying we won since the day the trade was made. For sure since the draft.- Winnipeg Blue Bombers Fans Choice Awards
To me you can't take their passports away when deciding who you vote for because of the way the CFL works. A game breaking national is always worth more than an equivalent or even slightly better international.- Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
That's right. His name is not currently signed to a current NHL contract. His option is to sign with the Jets or not play in the NHL. It is way different then holding out while under contract.- Game 4 : Leafs @ Panicking Already?
No it isn't that impressive. Just saw it on the Twitter feed so added it to the thread.- Donald Trump
It wouldn't surprise me if this was true but this last paragraph in the article, the last line totally sounds like it was written by Trump. That's how he talks.- Game 5 : Oil Wells @ All Is Well - Heritage Classic
It usually happens with a large picture in a tweet in one of the posts. Basically the page loads first, then it sets the position of your first unread post. The twitter content however is embedded different and loads after that, so if there is a long picture in it, your positioning gets offset.- Game 5 : Oil Wells @ All Is Well - Heritage Classic

If the Republicans want their accusations to be believable, put in a credible candidate. The fact that it is Trump and he lies and exaggerates every time he opens his mouth, valid accusations are going to get swept away with all of his other ridiculous rhetoric.- Game 4 : Leafs @ Panicking Already?

I thought that was a valid penalty. Pretty obvious he grabbed the stick and pulled the Leaf back to get his break away.- Miller starting contract extension talks with Walters O'Shea
Here is an interesting stat, if O'Shea gets extended, he will be our longest serving head coach since Dave Ritchie, who made it part way into his 5th season (fired in 2004). That is 10 years of instability of the head coaching position. Ritchie - Fired in his 5th year Doug Berry - 3 years Paul LaPolice - Fired in his 3rd year Tim Burke - 1 full season as Head Coach, part season as interim when LaPolice was fired Jim Daley - 1 full season as Head Coach, part season as interim when Ritchie was fired Mike Kelly - 1 year- Miller starting contract extension talks with Walters O'Shea
I'm okay with O'Shea at 3 years, as that is a pretty "standard" extension. You've had 3 years to evaluate what he is. If you (as in the club) are happy with him, believe he is your guy, then you make the commitment. If you don't believe he is that guy, then walk away. Walters for 5 seems a bit too much, especially given that he is already under contract next year, so you are really committing to him for the next 6 years. I'd rather that extension wait until mid season next year when we've had a chance to see if this team is for real or if this season has been a bit a blip.- Donald Trump
I think in general, Hillary's strategy has been to not even engage or respond to the accusations he makes because so many of them are just ridiculous and outlandish, and if she did it would quickly devolve into an argument that Donald would want. In these cases, this might be the first accusations Trump has that actually have merit (other then the email thing). Agree completely that Hillary loses against most other career politician in these debates. Although last night was probably her strongest, in general she doesn't come across as sincere. Everything seems practised, rehearsed, and planned. The good ones will use the practising and rehearsing to come across as sincere and believable.- General Fanager Gone
Glad they don't. Their website is horrible and I hate having to use it.- Game 4 : Leafs @ Panicking Already?

Not a fan at all of Arash Madani on Twitter, but I think he has had some very interesting articles since joining 3downnation. His latest is the challenges teams face in developing a QB at the professional level. Some nice work in getting quotes and info from people around the league. http://3downnation.com/2016/10/18/feature-hard-develop-quarterback-cfl/- Around The League Regular Season Discussion
