I don’t think anyone wants or expects Coach to throw players or coaches under the bus, but some accountability would be nice. Some realization that mistakes were made. Sometimes you need to save a player from himself, because of course they’re going to want to go back into the game…. It’s how they’re wired. But the coach needs to decide whether it helps or hinders the team.

I don’t think anyone is saying Adams is the player to save our pressure problems, but he has 4 sacks, playing mainly as a DT, and limited snaps. Our D line is weaker without him and we’re only dressing 6. And one of them is Thomas. That’s a problem.

I could be wrong, but I feel like you got the response you were hoping for. Why does it matter how many of his tackles were catching the ball carrier from behind? Adams is a solid contributor on a D line that needs his skill set. Do you not think he should be in the lineup?

And to be fair to Adams, he’s been a healthy scratch a few times this season, so his numbers could/would be even better. Also consider what kind of success he and the D line overall would have, if he was consistently taking snaps next to Woods or Fox, instead of Thomas. This is a strange hill to die on. Do you think Adams isn’t good enough to be in the lineup? Do you think Thomas brings more to the table? Just curious.

No Cole, Adams or Woods? I don’t get it. As others have said, the offense better put up some points because I can’t see this defense getting it done. Especially rushing 3, which seems to be a favourite these days. I just don’t get it… Hopefully I’m wrong.
