An extra body to get through practice at those positions and a shot in the dark that maybe those two can become serviceable Canadian players in the future

Easy for me.  Move Haba on PR if you really want him or cut him.  Leave Adams on the roster.
Haba is a very borderline CFL player.  We should still be beating the bushes for edge help.  Adams and Woods have been quite impactful.
Haba for Adams = weaker pass rush and weaker overall DL.  If you get injured every 2-3 games you play yes you can lose your job to injury.  That's happened to Haba.
And then he steps up and bombs it downfield because the pocket isn't being collapsed.

Territorial exemptions don't count against practice roster limit.

The financials part makes sense.  If a team has multiple guys extended on the six game (and they have missed 7 or more games), 2 of those guys can come off the list without a cap hit.  Any additional players pulled early, would have their salary count against the cap.
They haven't used one of those 2 exemptions yet (afaik) so leaving Lawler on the 6 game while moving Haba to the one game makes financial sense since they can pull Lawler off and won't get the cap hit.  Haba is much cheaper so his hit is manageable.

I give O’Shea some credit where credit is due. Instead of plugging Wallace or Eli in because they have some game day experience they went with the un known guy with tremendous upside. If we can critique O’shaa for being loyal to vets in ok giving him some praise for a good roster decision.

Seems like a bit of a reach.

None of these guys hold a candle to having a Biggie or Alexander to learn from both on and maybe more importantly off the field. Look the results haven't been what was hoped for, but the thought process to bring these guys in for leadership is not some big whopping mistake like others here would try to sell. Honestly, just a bunch of piling on of every decision the Bombers make over the past 3 years. I don't mind the valid criticisms at all, or looking at things that didn't work out and critiquing them, but the level some posters here are going to make everything the Bombers management and coaching does appear to be without thought or the result of bias is just plain and simply an agenda. An agenda that has taken over this forum for a couple years now trying to whip people into a frenzy.  Look I get the panic of an 0-4 start,  but we got guys who have been banging this drum in 15-3 and 14-4 seasons. We all need to step back from the ledge a little. This is not nearly as bad as we are being led to believe. Is it great...nope....do I hope for some changes...yep. The season is still very recoverable, and our management and coaching is near or at the top of the league.

Amazing to see the Bombers pull this out with 11 starting Canadians. Pretty remarkable and totally unnecessary
    Good signs for the future:
Development of young WRs, especially Pokey.
Collaros finding his groove after the second interception
    Olivera back-to-back strong games
Defense and special teams having big plays
ST coverage units showing more consistency
    Bad signs for the future:
DL looked abysmal at times. WJ not wreaking havoc consistently. Too much Jake. Too much Hubert. Where's the American DE? Hopefully Garbutt helps.
Biggie is over the hill. And I don't expect the team to move on until next season at the earliest that's just not how they operate with vets
BA is cooked as well. No clear replacement in house. Maybe Michael Griffin? Not sure if Osh would be willing to make a change.

He's had what, two targets so far? Jury still out to me on Wilson. Mitchell hasn't had any time to play WR at all really in that time.
Think Pokey Wilson clearly showed a lot in camp to be the Week 1 starter but I agree, I wonder if he doesn't do well this week if we'll see Josh Johnson there instead

Wheatfall just made a great diving catch for a TD at practice. He looks to be Lawler's replacement in the lineup.

This just in. Players that have been on the team for 2 weeks are not listed as the "starters" over the vets.
It's the first game. This is not at all unexpected.
It is exciting to see Woods and Adams draw in on the D-Line. Shows we are committed to more of a rotation this year.
