It’s my birthday. The last time the Bombers played on my birthday…they lost horribly at home to the Stamps. 😬 That said, I think being the team to come in here after that embarrassment to the Lions..is a fridge too far for Maier McCheese and company. You would if the club had to feed him.

Agree 100%. The blue leotards were awful. Stripe up those football pants or get out of the business. I don’t care for our current alternates at all because of the hockey jersey, but at least the pants and socks have proper striping. Thing that annoys me is all the alternates in the league are copy/pastes with different (but always mono) colours, maybe a gimmicky font on a few of them. There are zero alternates in the CFL with contrasting jerseys and pants, it drives me insane. Bunch of PJ sets.

Skimmed through the game again this morning. I missed a bunch the first time. Couple few random thoughts. -We didn’t see it last week, but Daramy Swaramy can really hit. - It’s hard to watch the oline on TV but it looked like Geoff Gray was having a lot of trouble in pass pro. Did see him in the second level on quite a few running plays though. - I was ripping on them, but I actually like how Marshall Ferguson called the game. It’s a shallow pool but I’d say he’s my favourite pbp guy on TSN right now. - As many have already said, having Lawson in made a huge difference in how the middle pressure looked. -Bombers are now 6-3 under Osh in Montreal. I think the 00’s narrative of Molson being a graveyard can be put to bed.

There’s something weird about Agudosi. I’d say lackadaisical, but that’s not really it. Just doesn’t strike me as a very aggressive player. The body catching kind of goes with that too.

As long as they don’t have him throw a deep pass in the Grey Cup, I’m fine with it. Too bad about Piggy, hope he signs somewhere else (or PR here ideally)

Only saw it the once but thought he may have hesitated as to not draw OPI, it looked like he may have been trying not to run back through the DB.

For sure, just a matter of preference. My all time favourite for TV was Don Wittman and Lancaster, with Cuthbert or Mark Lee with Walby as a close second. Really, I much preferred the presentation when it was on CBC. It just felt more important. TSN was always more gimmicky, it’s become worse over the last decade. Leave the party to the stadium, the football broadcast should be a football broadcast. Nothing more.

I love Dunnigan too. It’s really just Smith and to a lesser extent Neilson that I can’t stand. Too folksy, both of them. The PBP guy should give a dignified, somewhat serious air. Like Don Wittman, Cuthbert, Mark Lee. I was never a fan of the goofier PBP guys like Neilson and John Wells. Gotta have that contrast with the personality of the colour guy.
